And that's what I loved about the first gen - the soft upper.

That's kind of the point - I'm a big comic book fan, so snagging a pair of these would pretty much make my day.

I imagine it'd be the same for fans of pop art or graphic design.

haha, to clarify, i was referring to the "why always puma" MB45. Not a big fan of ANY of Puma's limited ed stuff yet, maybe sans the evospeed foot anatomy.

Big fan of comics so this BAM and POW thing is really up my alley, definitely different from your typical colourways. praying they ain't limited ed.

I'm poking fun ;). They're not my taste but neither are a lot of other designs that the majority tend to like.

I am a comic geek at heart so those are very appealing to me visually and as a cool item. If I were a pro player I would rock them, but that window long closed and even then it wouldn't have been at a level high enough to wear that much of an F U type of boot. Regardless they would look cool next some some of my Superman and Batman memorabilia as a merging of two things I love, old super hero stuff and boots.

I think they lack any association with DC or Marvel characters because Converse (casual) and Under Armor (performance) are already in that zone. UA probably has a locked down deal when it comes to cleated footwear. If UA dropped a Superman ClutchFit in leather (I hear leather is coming in that model) I would buy for sure.

The Reus and Fabregas signature models were pretty tidy.

meh, not my cup of tea i guess. It felt abit... boring to me? Very generic, nothing to make it feel very them. For me, a real signature boot would have been Balo's Why Always Puma. That was... just awesome.

100% with you. I expected to see something that would blow me mind (eg. those Balo's or those new POW Graphics), but those just bored me.

The new evopowers look super comfy, would really like to try out a pair. Shame that I have enough boots at least for next two seasons.

I have no self control and just ordered a pair of King SL Classicos. I'll update when I get them and have worn them a bit.

Yes I'm going to wear them, limited edition be damned.
