CP would have very coolly buried that Kagawa chance. That said, nice to see the coach protecting him for future games with the sub.
Great shift from the young man. He should probably be MOTM but Bartra, Goetze and Auba were all good too. CP's stats will be killer for the match in terms of dribbles won, passes completed and chances created. He was GREAT today.
I have never been a huge fan of Dembele. He scores some nice goals and ruins some good team build-ups. He dribbles with his head down and doesn't have good vision. Every other player on BVB plays for the team. For me, the only issue concerning his transfer was the timing. ps-I don't think he fits into Barca style. I suspect they will regret this transfer.
Great game for BVB and Pulisic. Team was as aggressive as ever going forward without losing their defensive concentration like they seemed to do so frequently last year. CP showed that his game has continued to grow at the rate we should expect from a teenager.
Such a great game by our boy. Confidence at an all time, really like his movement after pass, and great runs of the ball. #bubblewrap
Just finished watching this on DVR - well, not just now; I came to post something, but I kept getting drool on my keyboard, so having to wipe that up, then I realized, oh yeah I left my jaw behind on the floor where I was watching the match; So, back downstairs, grab my jaw, come back up and post: Wow.
Eh....that was just a regular game from Puli... By the way I loved what I saw from Goetze. Zagadou looks like a great prospect as well and is exactly in the mold of the modern fullback
"Christian Pulisic is still very young, but did really well today -- and not just because of his goal," the Dutch coach said. "He was all over the pitch, created lots of dangerous situations and played really well." http://www.espnfc.us/borussia-dortm...oal-a-b-after-leading-dortmund-to-opening-win
At Barca, yes. Dembele is perfect for Barca. They will definitely need him to pull apart RM. He brings a fresh breeze into the team with the other guy off to Paris. Neymar was always too soft for me. Dembele is sharp as a razor and was too limited in what he could do at Dortmund. Smart pick up by Barca there.
