Confidence is a strange thing. This BVB 2nd half looks nothing like their last half dozen or so games.
The cross was to no one, but I wouldn’t call it a shit cross. He put it right through the center of the box and no one was home. Auba was covered so he was smart to cut it back a bit and it looked like either Sahin or Kagawa was very late arriving for it and hasn’t even reached the top of the 18 yet. A poacher like Yarmo or Phillip would have been there for it.
at worst that's a free kick on the edge of the box you can't just bowl over a guy that has you beat, come on.
I think Peter Bosz not rating Julian Weigl sums up pretty much why Dortmund suck so much under his leadership
#1 thing for CP to work on this offseason is without a doubt strength and conditioning. He seems to lose a step most games around this time. He plays 100% all the time to be fair.
It was certainly impressive but my biggest gripe with Pulisic is how rarely he gets teammates involved at the end of those runs. He could’ve played the ball to Auba rather than trying to beat both defenders.
Ref has sucked and played the hard man against BVB and Pulisic, but our boy definitely needs to find a way to get stronger while not sacrificing too much speed. Bounces off some players or just looks like a little brother trying to get the ball off their big brother.
nah bro. He was 4 against one with nowhere to go when he lost the ball. Then there were two more BVB errors including a horrible one by Burki before the goal. He was in no way at fault for that one
