Forgot how fast CP is, it’s amazing what some time off will do

 

I'm 90 seconds in and he's already quickly and easily beaten a man and put in a dangerous cross. Looking pretty sharp right off the bat.

 

Yeah, he isn’t super sharp but you can tell he has an extra gear that he didn’t have last year

 

Assist CP

 

Beats his man to the touch line and puts in a low cross to the penalty spot where Isak was waiting.

 

Nice assist. He looks spritely out there.

 

CP is showing off for his new boss.

 

Does my soul good to see him looking rested. It was hard to watch him play late last season. He needed a break and it's done him a world of good. He's got that electric first step back.

 

Dare I say it, CP is the best player on the pitch and looks like a leader out there.

 

Looks like they are readying 11 subs for the second half.

 

Beats his man and puts in a great cutback cross for the goal. Finish was easier than a penalty.

I don't think this AW left back is very good... but either way this is what I would like to see MUCH more of from CP this season.

 

In 42', great counter with flubbing 1v1 against keeper. Should be 2-0.

CP with a one-two, then takes a touch and gets fouled to avoid the break.

BVB looks good! Liverpool - BVB next week should be a fun one. Can't wait to see how the respective stars perform.

CP wins a throw after controlling the hoofed long ball counter.

 

I have a feeling Schurrle is going to be the odd man out this season. I think Favre will like having CP and Sancho on the wings.

The one concern is, if Isak is their only forward, they are in trouble.

This really is a beautiful stadium, looks amazing.
