This has been his best half the season. He's been a terror running at opponents, but also being an option for teammates, and just making the simple play much more often when required. Well-earned 2-0 with him contributing in both.

Teammate botched the sitter otherwise that would have been a real assist for Christian. Pinpoint hard low cross.

Pulisic should have an assist. Pulisic puts it on Diallos foot 1 yard out.

Diallo just screwed Pulisic out of an assist with a terrible miss.

And a Pulisic shot at the top of the 18 is punched away by the keeper.

Diallo should’ve scored on Pulisics cross

You know Pulisic is back when his teammates are blowing his assists again.

Sun will be in the Bremen keeper’s eyes in the next half. So I envision some more exciting offense.

Whoscored has Pulisic on top of everyone with an 8.2 rating at the half.

Poor goalie, as if he hasn't had enough going.

At this rate, Kicker may even give him a 3.5!! :D

Actually that is my US West Coast bias showing. In Germany the sun is going down not up, so it’s out of his eyes. NVM

Pulisic is actually averaging a 3.54 for the season with Kicker, although they have been much less impressed with his performances in the Champions League than in the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal this season.

Pulisic flashes more skill early in the second half. He beats a defender and sets somebody (Goetze?) free on the left, who then crosses to Pulisic, whose header goes wide.

The next attack ends in a Delaney shot parried for a corner. Pulisic had started the attack with a nice flick early in the buildup.

Looked like Josho Baggins is warming up on the sideline.
