    Time for a goal today.

He has not had a goal/assist in 3 straight games?

Everton really up for it. Let's see how long they can keep this intensity.

Willian, Tammy and CP form a passing triangle in Everton’s box and perform a beautiful passing drill.

James having a bad day also. Chelsea offense hasn’t quite figured it out yet, but they seem to be getting closer to unlocking Everton. I suspect there are more goals waiting to happen this match.

    Azpi's passing has been poor.

Kovacic is so good at dribbling & making space.

Willian having a shocker. Lamps might pull him at half time for CHO. Maybe. Or let him try to lay through it. He’s just getting the ball in the box time and again and then he completely spazzes like a teenage boy alone with a girl for the first time ever.

    Everton's attack looks rather shambolic.

PS: First half ends with Chelsea having only one shot on goal to Everton's two.

80% possession... no goals to show for it. Wasting too many opportunities in the box. Azpi looks particularly poor today... but overall, the final pass just hasn't been on point. CP should have picked out Tammy instead of Willian... Tammy should have picked out CP instead of Willian. Willian should have passed to CP instead of... well not doing anything except lose it across the touch line. In the end, I think the O presses at times because the D keeps putting them behind the 8 ball. The marking on that cross for the goal was terrible. This was never going to be easy... new manager boost and a tough place to play.... but they have not scored at Everton in well something like 3+ games... Now they need at least two.

They seem like a team that needs a break. The EPL is no easy games and winter break is close, but they have been playing a lot of games. It's like the body is willing but the mind is not there. Tammy has been a half step away. 3-1 Chelsea at the end.

I don't get what the English see with Mount. The guy could take a nap on the grass and they'd still say he's fantastic.

Need at least 3 now. Wow. Bad luck facing a team with a new manager at home.

Chelsea really need to work on defending better. Maybe a player or two?
