Well I hope I'm not the only one who was thrown off by daylight savings time. Luckily, this game was at a time which allowed for orientation. Pulisic gets the start and is hosting Chandler with Frankfurt!
Pulisic starts on the right wing. Chandler slots in at LWB as usual this season. Should be a Sunday yank battle on the flank.
5’ Chandler does well to stretch the field and tries a wall pass into the box but doesn’t get the ball returned.
6’ Chandler fouls Pulisic who did well to dribble away from three players and would have been free to crash the corner. The resulting free quick leads to a shot from Reus.
11’ Pulisic on the other end gets a fantastic cross in to Schurrle, who can steer in into the net. End to end stuff.
11’ Goal for Dortmund! Dahoud finds Pulisic breaking down the right and he sends his cross into the goalie box. Reus pressures the space and forces the defender to knock it into his own net. Great from Pulisic, Chandler was a little slow to get back.
2 fantastic crosses, 1 goal, no assists. Such is life for CP this season. I don't care, he's got his mojo back, that much is clear.
Dortmund in the drivers seat. Couple shots from Reus and Schurrle. Maybe a bit too selfish at times, but they are definitely hungry.

Thanks Dahoud. Retaliation foul likely takes pulisic out for the match. I see him take some tough fouls this year.
