Pulisic with a nice move to spilt two defenders, but lets himself down with the final pass.

Pulisic needed that cut back pass to be crisper. Damn. Good move to beat the defense to the end line.

Cut back should have come earlier.

Toljan has not looked great... pretty limited when has received the ball.

I'm not sure Dortmund has a good, ball-winning d-mid on the team. Leads them to losing the midfield a lot when their opponent puts up any resistance. I think they should try to address that in the transfer window, as well as cb. Maybe also call back Passlack and plug him in at fb, because their options are underwhelming their too, unless they want too aged players at a mostly young man's position.

Quicker passing there by Dortmund to draw the penalty. Pulisic not involved.

    1-1 now

Lots of consecutive passes lead to a PK. Pulisic not involved.

Auba, Yarmo, and Kagawa redeeming themselves with quick combination play leading to a penalty..

Well, Pulisic has twice now found himself way to static when a teammate is looking up the left channel. He really could use the space better to receive the ball. I would say Kagawa is far superior at showing for the ball and it's what prevents Pulisic from being more productive IMO.

Everything through the right when Pulisic was on the left, opposite now. He's super smooth on the ball, but I agree with neems, his off the ball movement means he gets the ball less than he should.

Yes! Came through in the end. It's nothing more than he and they needed.

Beat the opponent to the ball, flipped it up to himself, and dinked it in. Get him further up the pitch in a true a-wing spot so he's more attack and less build-up.

PULISIC! He wakes up with a super nice run and finish around the keeper! 2 - 1 Dortmund.
