The score doesn't tell the story.

Madrid is dominating, BvB has nothing going. How many shots on target does BvB have? ZERO

It could have easily been 3-0

Yep. Atletico makes a lot of teams look toothless.

That's another thing to consider, Atletico doesn't fear anyone, so they don't mind finishing second in the group and resting some key guys for some of the group games.

Who are they going to fear? Real? Barca? Bayern? ManCity? They're even with any of them, at least.

BvB looks like they don't belong out there today.

Makes sense. Perhaps their most difficult scheduled game of the season in the middle of serious fixture congestion, and having won the first game 4-0, and with Bayern on deck. It’s hard to see Sancho having anything left to start on Saturday. He was even more ineffectual than CP today, and he’s logged a lot of recent minutes.

If they were going to have a bad game this week . . . . this was the right one to pick!

There is zero reason to fear Liverpool and Roma on current form... not for Atletico, at least.

Juve is probably more fearsome than Madrid or Bayern at this point, though.
