The Puerto Rico Islanders are becoming a powerhouse. See this beautiful result, PR Islanders 3 - Santos 1. It is time to recognize that the Caribbean is no longer the ugly duck and distances between the famous teams and us are not so far.

Well to be fair playing in that swimming pool definitely helped us. That being said the score could have definitely been higher. Though we still have to wait how we do in Mexico.

But it was the same for both teams. I cant say the Isalnders were in a distinct advantage either, I doubt they could play under those conditions the same every time. Props to the Islanders, as they go, so does Puerto Rico. Great to see the sport gorwing there.

It was pretty good, especially considering it's been raining in PR for about 2 days straight.

Local newspaper said it was 10,118...that is a really good attendance for a Tuesday match...the atmosphere was great. There was a complete sections full of mexicans and it got pretty heated in there a couple of times...

WE SANG CIELITO LINDO A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE SECOND HALF...
(ay ay ay ay, canta y no llores!!!!!)

It's a shame that it started raining right after the game started, but there's no advantage to what is the same on both sides

Keep up the good job Islanders! Go Joe public!

I hope this can propel Jack Warner to get a Caribbean club league or A greater antillies club league started including Trinidad & Tobago.

If it's hosted in Cuba,D.R.,Puerto rico,Jamaica or Haiti. I think the top Trini clubs could afford it. Someone came up with the idea as a Big Islands league. I think if it's hosted in Haiti or D.R. it would not be such a long trip for the Countries as mentioned. Only Trinidad would have a longer trip and their top clubs should be able to afford it.

    The Islanders are doing great.

Nice to see 3 trinis repping prominently with them as well.

What are the nationalities of the other main players?

Noah Delgado & Curet are both Puerto Ricans.
I believe all of their keepers are American
    Noel is a Haitian
Atieno is the young English yute
