No doubt it was a pen and then they call 1 soft and another super soft pen on the other side. Worst officiating I have ever seen. This is the problem with FIFA they know Barca brings in the money and PSG doesn't. Disgusting.

It's a question of attitude. Those other clubs have a long history of greatness and sense of pride to wear the jersey that maybe hasnt been created at PSG yet.

Holy Sh*t in all my years watching football this is the biggest collapse in history. Liverpool V Dortmund last year is one of the closest but still nothing on this.

Yes Cavani and Di Maria missed goals to kill it and there were some dodgy decisions, BUT

How on earth do you concede 3 goals in 7 minutes? How?

A BETTER Barcelona team could not do it against Chelsea in 2012 because they could defend.
    The manager is gone, finished.

Just saw the highlights. Those 2 Barca goals scored on pk's were awful penalties. Even the non biased British announcers said they were harsh then they happened. The first one the PSG defender slipped and fell and the player crashed into him. The 2nd one you could clearly see Suarez "acting."

Neutral ESPN FC pundits agree on those 3 plays (-2 Barca +1 PSG assuming they convert) and the early handling no call from Draxler ( +1 PSG assuming they convert) so a 4 point shift + stoppage time is = until Barca scores -- but honestly they beat themselves by playing scared and as usual missing easy (for players of their caliber) chances.

    - Hardly anyone thought they would go through after the draw.
    - Hardly anyone thought they would not go through after the first leg.
    - Hardly anyone thought that was a just result.

May have been better off to be 2 - 1 or 3 - 1 at home to know they still had to play attacking soccer at the Camp Nou. Cruel, cruel, game.

psg should look themselves in the mirror , this defeat was bad and humiliating , this is not even spanking, just pure embarrassment to french football.

The second one was a really clear penalty and a really stupid foul for PSG to make. The first one could be debatable but I have seen penalties given for that before, so maybe a little harsh, but nothing unbelievable. Anyway let me tell you that Barca players were fouled many times and not called, so I think its all even. It was an extremely physical game, and honestly PSG were defending badly lets be honest. Also Cavani and Di Maria missed 2 clear shots on goal that most would score.

the suarez dive was never a penalty. Really blatant.

The attack did its part and delivered the away goal with what scarce chances they had. The first three goals conceded were from poor defending, individually, collectively. PSG had the midfield to compete with barca and just sat back and absorb, which is fine if you defend well, but they didn't. After 4-1, PSG completely lost composure.

Unbelievable that what could had happened in the last 5 minutes of the game, 3 goals in the span of 5 minutes, the worst and most miserable 5 minutes sequence ever in the history of a football match, talk about a total collapsed.

Unfortunately this incredible comeback victory for Barca will be mentioned and talk again & again in the next 100 of years, what a damage that has been done to the name of PSG.

why did they not show the replay

when they have been showing replays and close ups of other incidents during the game, they have 10 to 20 maybe more cameras at every angle on a big game night with one or two will consecrate on the man on the ball all the time for their close up shots

"Upon their return to Paris, the club alleges the travelling party were verbally abused and several vehicles damaged at Bourget Airport, while club staff, players and their families had to be escorted from the scene."

Not fans or supporters - criminals. I'm upset, I can understand being upset, but these idiots should be charged as criminals -- even worse that families were also apparently involved including threats of physical violence against them.

The ref was diabolical and we got robbed , Barcelona are absolute cheats and ********ing bastards but we only have ourselves to blame for being knocked out . That was possibly the biggest bottling job in the history of the sport . From having a 4-0 lead in the 1st leg and then scoring the goal to make it 1-3 and they still could not see out the game . A ********ing disgrace .

Unfortunately the loser DNA is a symbol of the club

I have mixed feelings about this, a call for a needed investigation ... or rubbing salt in a wound that will never heal anyway?
"PSG sends formal complaint over controversial calls against Barcelona"
"Les Parisiens claim that up to eight moments of the game were misjudged by ref Deniz Aytekin, leading to Barcelona's comeback last week."

If any French team can advance in this competition it is probably a good thing for Ligue 1. If Monaco has some ongoing schedule issues due to UCL knockout matches and ends up playing a weaker squad in some league matches that can be a good thing for PSG. And if I'm being honest Monaco can be fun to watch. All that makes me hope they get the 2 goals they need today.

I have mixed feelings about it too. I'm not too thrilled with it because I don't think there is any outcome that would make it worth it for us and also, unfortunately, it makes people think we are sore losers. Which really sucks because if we're being honest, that game was, hands down, decided by the referee. Sure, we did not play well by any means, but without the referee's intervention, we would be going through.

If there were some sort of benefit to be derived from it and if football fans weren't such assholes, then this would have been a good move. Unfortunately, I think we just have to accept that the Barcelonas of the world will always be favored and we are merely the obstacle in their "miracle comeback". And anyone who knows me knows that this is not coming from a bitter place. I've had a massive amount of respect and admiration for Barcelona because of how much I love some of their current (and past) players, the history, their style of play, and the fact that the city itself is my favorite outside of France. Anyone on this forum knows that I always accepted it whenever they beat us in the past because it was always thoroughly deserved. However, this past loss is impossible to swallow. I don't think they deserved to go through, but at the same time, I blame the referee way more than I blame Barcelona. It would be ridiculous to pretend like Barcelona is the only team that has players who try to get nonexistent penalties, we've done it before (though not in this type of scenario, but still). The referee was the one at fault for giving the penalties.

I definitely agree. I've always fully supported any French team in the CL and I'd be happy to see any of them win, with the exception of Marseille, who I could obviously never support in any capacity. I've always supported Lyon in the CL and I'd be happy to see them win, but only if Aulas' reaction wasn't extremely obnoxious, though of course it would be. :p

Edit: though I'd be particularly pleased to see Monaco win over other L1 teams, which is probably because they aren't a "French" team. ;) I'd be a little jealous, but it would be really cool for them and for the league. Even if we weren't in direct competition for the title, I'd be really thrilled to see them win. The CL has been tainted for me this year, but it would be great to see Monaco win.
