Its weird to see big money players (Lucas, Pastore) and players who wont be on the team when the season starts(Chantome, Jallet) playing in these games.
Yeah, it is kind of strange. I'm still kind of shocked Lucas wasn't called up for the world cup, but at least he was spared the embarrassment. I wish Chantome wasn't leaving, but it makes the most sense.
When you look at who Brazil were playing in the attacking third like Hulk, Willian, it's a shock since Lucas is miles better.
I know, it's absolutely ridiculous, but I'm glad he wasn't associated with their absolute failure of a campaign. I can only hope that the one good thing that will come of it is that it will motivate David Luiz and Thiago Silva to at least have a successful club season.
Half time during the friendly against Nice and PSG is winning 2-0. Missed the first goal by Bahebeck in the first few minutes. Marquinhos scored the second from a corner. Ibra doesn't look ready, which is worrying. Hopefully he will be at 100% before the season starts.
JCB has been very impressive in each pre-season game . He had a good Toulon tournament also . Maybe this is the season he makes a break through . The new away kit looks great .
Absolutely agree. Him and Ongenda have really been battling out for potential playing time on either wing and seems to be working, but u have to ask urself where Coman would've figured in all of this had he stayed.
A great first half . 2nd half they slowed down but it's understandable as the game was rather comfortable . Lets hope it's the first of many more trophies this season . Can't wait for the 1st game
HT Reims 2-1 Paris SG Ibra opened up the score in the 7th minute and it looked like this would be an easy game for us. Reims started off quite poorly and their midfield was nonexistent, but then we messed up a few chances and they got a goal and then another. Zlatan also missed a penalty (which is fine since it didn't really look like a penalty to me anyway). I know this is only day 1, but there is no excuse for us to miss all these chances. I expect us to at least get one goal (or two, hopefully) in the second half. Reims has been playing better since their goals, but we really should be able to at least get a draw.
Playing Napoli after the season started is strange but I read Napoli wanted a friendly before Serie A starts and PSG obliged I guess.
The game is 0-0 at halftime against Napoli. Thiago Silva got injured early on and got replaced by Marquinhos. I'm very worried now because we cannot afford for this to happen. Hopefully it's nothing serious. On another note, Cavani is being whistled by the Napoli supporters. I feel bad for him, especially since his kids are there. This is so unclassy and it's a friendly, FFS.
