I'm all for a 352 however it requires very capable wing backs which is easily our biggest weakness. Valencia can do the job on the right but nobody was have is capable on the left.

We have Demi Mitchell who for me is pretty good going forward, or if you are looking for a more solid option we have tuanzabe.

Shaw is still our #1 option for that spot when fit, which hopefully will be soon. Darmian is what he is: a stopgap and as such, he's doing as well as should be expected (which is decent enough).
There's still legitimate questions as far as Mitchell's defensive abilities at Prem level (and he'll probably be best served to hone them with the U23s) and Tuanzebe is just not a left sided player either.
From that perspective, it's disappointing that Jose has no time apparently for CBJ. Perhaps he's regressed or lost form, who knows? But the way he played under Van Gaal, he could have had a role to play, if given the opportunity.

Mitchell is a long way away from being a first team player. We won't play any significant minutes this season.

Tuanzebe is a CB that's dabbled at CDM and RB. He's certainly no LWB.

CBJ would fit in for sure as a lwb, too bad Mou doesn't rate him. Shaw can play that spot hopefully he gets (and remains) healthy.
