    What good is MUTV if they can't even land games like this? What a waste of money.

    It's crazy that it's the first time apparently that Bailly and Lindelof with be paired up. Hoping they can hold their own because they'll be tested today against this Bayern front 4 (even without Lewandowski).

    I'm only peeved it wasn't advertised widely that it wasn't available live in the US. I'm not bothered overall because MUTV isn't really for live matches, I still look forward to highlights, condensed matches, replays, compilations and specials.

    The speed on Rashford is ridiculous. Guy almost gave up on a through ball, thinking he might have been offside and when he realized the assistant was keeping his flag down, he just turned on the jets and kept the play going. Almost effortlessly too.

    Has Perreira touched the ball yet?

    A very pegged back 4-3-3 from us - Mata and Sanchez very wide and defensive, so Rash pretty much up isolated on his own.

    Constant highlight of that half was Pereira in posession with both arms outstretched in the universal 'why the f**k is nobody showing for the ball' pose.

    @johno
    I haven't watched every minute but it has mostly been practice attack vs defense - a very average attack against a very average defense.

    Not great signs for either team.

    We should have let go of Mata this summer. Wolves or someone of their ilk would have paid 20m since he is still a big name.

    our fullbacks are not giving us anything. luke shaw is just not very good, bite the bullet and give juventus what they want for sandro.

    Among many others though. Mata is the least of it.

    At least we have tried to offload Darmian, Rojo and Shaw. And Fellaini (almost)

    We haven't even tried with Mata.

    Along with RW, LB were the 2 spots we had to strengthen. I'll welcome a new CB (Alderweireld) but taking care of those 2 spots were very much a priority.
    Doesn't look like either will be addressed this summer either. Just very disappointing frankly.

    Has Fred done anything of note? The 433 w/ defensive wings is dumb. If we are going to give up a lot of possession against good teams we may as well keep players up the pitch.

    The problem is just not with our tactical setups, or even really the players. We know we could use some better players in certain positions, but the biggest problem is Mourinho and how he has the guys play. Completely hamstrung, with little to no freedom to express themselves.
    Really sad and depressing...
