But how much of a Jose move would it be to bitch about not having forward options and how Martial should be back with the team, and then get him back for this game and have him sit the bench and play youth guys ahead of him. I can totally see this happening but Jose is a vindictive little prick.

 

I can see two scenarios.

1) not get called up at all.
2) get called up and start.

Jose is an extremist, those two options are.

 

I hope its the second but I just cant see it. Jose is usually not the one who caves or tries to be the bigger man. He routinely puts is ego and persona ahead of the good of the club.

 

I could see him not even getting called up and Jose complaining that he picked up an injury or is not fit.

 

The best possible outcome would be for him to start with kids mostly and tear BM apart.

 

can we also be honest about how martial has looked in the u.s. in the games that he did play?

 

Dangerous in flashes but also looked uninterested. Also nobody to play off of and never got the ball back when he tries 1-2s.

 

Not being played in his best position most of the time did not help matters either, if we're talking about being completely honest. He's really not a CF and he either has to play on the left side in a front 3 or in a front 2, he ought to be deployed where Mata was during the latter games of the tour, playing deeper and in support of Sanchez (or whoever the actual CF is).

im just done with martial and his constant whining. hes not good enough to half ass it. same reason why deschamps didnt take him to russia while other bench players like giroud made the trip. it's never his fault.

 

I think it's been pretty evident now that every time Martial has played as the main CF up top, he's hardly been as productive as he's been elsewhere. And personally, I think that the idea of Martial as a genuine 9 should be put to on the shelf for now (under Mourinho at least or until we get proper support around him to get him good service at least).
And that is why, I believe he's far more effective on the left side in a front 3, or with a front 2, as used recently, he'd be the attacker in support of the other (as Mata has been of late).
I'm interested in seeing him perform at his best and no shoehorned anywhere, presuming he's a good fit for a position when he's got no track record of success in it recently...

Well then sell him and replace him. Bitching about his availability and not playing him when he's available is counter productive. Nobody will pay top money for a top talent if all you do is slag him off and bench him.

Safe to say Martial has got about half of the stuff he's responsible for wrong. Mourinho probably 9/10 things wrong. Stop caping.

The app seems to be replaying the match against Madrid. Not sure what’s up with that. My hope is that it is an error. Earlier it had a countdown to encryption which says to me maybe there was a free trial for everything but the match?

 

Yeah. I thought the same thing, then did some research. The game is only for British users. I ll use Acestream (haven't used it in years).
