    Did anyone see what DeAndre and Jozy did during the anthem before the Panama game? ESPN panned away quickly.

    Okay, we have had two national anthems and the only political statements made were the standard ones, which effectively makes the OP moot. Given the discussion of this has been general and there's no news that will drive it to be USMNT-specific, I'm closing this thread now.

    Before doing so, I'd like to note my respect for the folks who argued from a wide range of perspectives while managing to do so with civility and a focus on the topic at hand.
