Chelsea beat Feyenoord 5-2, and next face Real Madrid. They had the "big guns" playing, including Hudson, who could have easily had a hat-trick (but didn't score).
Chelsea's Isaac Christie Davies is starting for Liverpool u23s tonight, on trial. Bit of a surprise to me as he's looked a lazy no-hoper for years now.
Leicester's u23s beat Liverpool 4-0, in a top of the table clash. Harvey Barnes showed his qualities, scoring twice.
The inaugural Under-16 Premier League Cup was decided today as Man City won 2-1 at Chelsea after extra time. Rowan McDonald opened the scoring for City with a header from a corner, Tino Anjorin equalised, then Taylor Harwood-Bellis scored with another header from another corner three minutes into time added on in extra time to claim the trophy after Chelsea played the last 20 minutes a man light through injury, having used all of their substitutes.
Man City beat Liverpool on pens (after 1-1 draw) to go through to the semi finals of the u19 CL Spurs lost 2-0 yesterday.
Chelsea managed to get passed Real Madrid, winning 4-2 away. They went 1-0 down early on to a fantastic free kick but came back to go 3-1 up by half time. One of their goals was clearly hand ball though. Then it was 3-2 and Chelsea were hanging on particularly when Maddox was sent off with about 25 mins to go.. At the death, Madrid's keeper cocked up by using the wrong foot trying to clear the ball and it was 4-2. Porto up next for Chelsea. They didn't look much cop in beating Spurs.
Shame Huddersfield scrapped their academy as they seem to be producing good players An example of our @htafcacademy ‘Terriers identity’ on show against a very good @FCBayern U19 side — a fantastic team goal finished off by @RekeilPyke. #NoLimits #YoungTerriers #NewChallenges #UTT #htafc pic.twitter.com/dNvMFLt7wr— Leigh Bromby (@LeighBromby) March 24, 2018

Does anyone know any clever ways of finding out what tournaments youth teams are playing in? I'm particularly interested in tracking Spurs u14s as they look really talented. Some of them might post in on instagram that they're flying to a country for a tournament but it's hard to find anything else out there. E.g. I know they were in an indoor tournament at this start of this year in Germany or Latvia but can't find anything and they are currently on their way to Spain. Is there any site that lists youth tournaments throughout the year?
We can probably put together a decent list ourselves, I know a lot from Chelsea's regular involvement (they also produce an in-house calendar of events that include these tours that has made its way out in the past), and I'm sure others do too. Reckon your 14s are off to the MIC: http://www.micfootball.com/grupos/ Specifically Cat C2 Group C.
There are dozens and dozens though, this is just a toe in the water of some of the most popular. Eurocup Delfzijl January http://www.eurocupdelfzijl.nl/ Riga Cup February (also a summer version) http://www.rigacup.lv/ Dallas Cup March http://www.dallascup.com/ Rotterdam Football Cup April http://www.rotterdamfootballcup.com/ Mediterranean International Cup April http://www.micfootball.com/en/ Kevin de Bruyne Cup June https://www.kdbcup.be/ Abano Football Trophy June http://abanofootballtrophy.com/ Marveld Toernooi June http://marveldtournament.com/ Youdan Trophy July http://youdantrophy.com/ Torneo Manlio Selis July http://torneoselis.com/ NI Milk Cup (now SuperCup NI) August http://www.supercupni.com/ Liepaja Amber Cup October http://turniir.ee/ambercup MTU-Hallencup December http://www.mtu-hallencup.de/en/home.html La Liga Promesas December http://www.laliga.es/en/laliga-promises/xxii-torneo-internacional-laliga-promises-arona/teams
Is the National Cups u13 and u15 ? I know there is the International Tournaments for u12 and u14 & (u16 new ?) I saw our Academy Manager Gary Brazil say Forest u13s are playing Man City or Liverpool in the one SF this year
As you suggested I added some I am aware of and it led me to finding out one of the Cups I was originally asking about. They went to the Sonnenland Cup

Ha, didn't notice that. If it's any consolation he's ranked in the top 5 on FootballTalentScout dude on Twitter 979057723429064706 is not a valid tweet id
Just if anyone is interested, I will add this video which features City 2004's playing. You have to scroll through to 3hour 5 mins to get to the game. Also a team list just for future reference:
Yeah, thought that also when I first saw it, very disappointing. Hope the coaches have a word with the kid about that. Despite the opposition being poor, was still impressed with the technical ability, skills and intelligence of the players, just far superior to the Spanish team. Will be interested to see her them against a better team to see how good they are.
Chelsea lost 3-0 to Barcelona in the u19 final today, with a very disappointing performance from them. I doubt the first team manager will have been impressed by any of them on that showing.
I didn't see all the game but watched as much as I could and yeah the final was pretty brutal and the best team won despite their play acting and the referee falling for it from what I saw, these kids really know how to milk it, to turn an normal foul into a certain yellow card! Actually thought Chelsea we're better in the second half fwiw. From what I saw from the semi final and the final, it didn't seem like CHO was at his best, maybe the parts I missed he stepped up but from what I saw he was pretty quiet which was disappointing.
Lots of goals this morning. Tottenham U18s defeated Arsenal U18s 9-0 and Sheffield Wednesday U18s defeated Huddersfield U18s (containing quite a few trialists and U16s) 10-1.
