Tomorrow (Friday Aug 11) is the Trofeo Moretti vs Inter and Napoli. Ought to be interesting. Anybody know if there will still be a "Trofeo Berlusconi" match vs Milan this year?

And Juve also beats Napoli, via an old MLS-style shooutout after the 45 minutes finished scoreless.

Any next friendly coming up for Juve? I would like to see a match....I have RAI International, they regularly broadcast soccer matches.

It'd be so great watching Juve, against all odds, come back to the top.

You guys bosted pretty much a full team, with 3 strikers (Adriano, Cruz and Martins). The only regular we started with from last year was Nedved, and you still couldn't win? Give me a break.

Here's the table for the Napoli game. Looks like it got a little crazy at the end there with all the yellow cards. Chiumiento, there's a name to pay attention to, IMO. BTW, Birindelli was the captain. I'm sure he has seniority among this crew. Also, I hadn't realized Paolo Cannavaro was now at Napoli.

    NAPOLI-JUVENTUS 0-1 (dopo gli shoot-out)

    RETI: Chiumiento (shoot-out)

    JUVENTUS
Mirante; Balzaretti, Birindelli, Legrottaglie, Chiellini; Guzman, Paro, Marchisio, Nedved; Bojinov (32’ Chiumiento), Zalayeta (43’ Sculli).
    All. Deschamps

    NAPOLI
Gianello; Maldonado (28’ Giubilato), Cannavaro P., Domizzi, Grava; Montervino (23’Trotta), Bogliacino (41’ Gatti), Dalla Bona (20’Amodio); De Zerbi (23’ Capparella), Bucchi (20’ Sosa) Pià.
    All. Reja

    ARBITRO: Fanti

    AMMONITI: 9’ Marchisio, 42’ Amodio, 44’ Paro, 45’ Gatti, 45’ Nedved, 46’ Sosa

ya, i agree the were bad today and the 4-3-3 was terrible hard to win when your mid gets dominated because of the extra man.

Also, who was juve's goalie for the two games?

That's Antonio Mirante - he had 26 appearances for Siena last year and was Italy's #3 (behind Curci and Agliardi) at the Under-21 UEFA championship this summer. Definitely a promising young player. If Buffon sticks around - and now that they have Belardi - I wonder if they'll loan him out so he can get some continued first-team work.

BTW, I didn't get an answer to my question from anybody, but I think there must not be a Trofeo Berlusconi friendly with Milan this year because Juve is booked for the next couple of weeks with Coppa Italia matches.

Juve drew with Piacenza today 0-0. They fielded a primarily youth squad, bust supposedly had the better of the chances with Paro having a shot bounce off the post.

Here's who started and who was available vs Piacenza. It was Belardi's debut in goal. I'm sure all of these guys played. Wonder if the likes of Del Piero and Camoranesi will be even in the squad for the Coppa Italia match vs Martina scheduled for this weekend. Something tells me no. Chiellini, Trezeguet and Nedved were of course with their respective national teams today.

JUVENTUS: Belardi, Balzaretti, Masiello, Legrottaglie, Birindelli, Paro, Marchionni, Giannichedda, De Ceglie, Guzman, Zalayeta. All. Deschamps. A disposizione: Scarzanella, Bartolucci, Chiumiento, Luci, Marchisio, Pisani, Rossi, Sculli, Urbano

It will be held in January. Like you said, they couldn't hold it because of Juve in Coppa Italia and Milan in CL qualifiers.

i see del piero score twice against the serie D side, would these count to his goal total with juve or not becuase its just a friendly becuase that would put him at 200 goals for juve
