I can't find a 2018 Competition Schedule, which is supposed to have the roster trim dates. I did find this: Any Player that is in preseason training camp with an NWSL Team cannot be discovered by another NWSL Team until she is released by that Team. Once preseason begins, Teams must make a decision on Non-Contracted Players, whose rights they hold, within 15 days once the Player reports. During preseason, Teams must submit a preseason list of up to 32 Players, 25 Players and 20 Player rosters on the corresponding dates outlined in the Competition Calendar. This list is to include only those Players who are currently participants in the camp. The list should be resubmitted any time there is a change in participants. Forms will be provided to submit your list of Players to the League office. I added the underlining. I don't think the underlined material refers to players invited to participate in preseason training unless they're draft picks, discovery players, or players returning from a prior year but that they haven't signed yet. I did find what purports to be the 2017 Competition Calendar, but that one doesn't say anything about dates for preseason lists of 32 and then 25 players. My guess is that the deadlines are covered by internal unpublished documents.
I'm probably going to have to miss the first games, including the Thorns and Red Stars. I'll be at the other Thorns games and possibly the other teams' games.
U of Portland has the capability of streaming, but I can't find anything saying there will be streaming of these games.
I have nothing new or substantive to add. Just excited that the new season begins in... ONE WEEK! It seems NWSL excitement has been tempered a bit by Boston folding and the Press Mess. But there is still much to be optimistic about.

We're supposed to, but I haven't seen anything other than that the rosters have to be filed today. That gives about 12 hours and 23 minutes left out here on the West Coast.
I guess not including any of the trialist or draft pick can be considered surprising. Others are releasing their rosters as well.
