After thinking about it for a while, I decided that we'll do a mix of what RobB was suggesting, but not to the same degree. I'm going to award 1.5 points if you get the score margin correct in a non-drawn game. To do any more would cheapen the value of accurately predicting the correct scoreline, IMHO.

Here's the standings through Sunday's games. Bear in mind these are not the end of the round's standings, just an update as to where you stand at this moment:

I'll post the next weekend's games and the round standings on Wednesday sometime, and those will be up for selection at that point in time. Those who weren't able to pick this weekend's games but want to participate in the game are welcome to join whenever they wish, starting with the games left on the docket. So if you want to pick up the game now, you can start with the mid-week fixtures if you like.

Alright, folks, here's the table. Ties are not placed in any specific order, as it's nearly impossible to break a tie after one round of play.

And, without further ado, here's this round's games:

    Saturday, 18 August 2007
    Birmingham v West Ham, 15:00
    Fulham v Middlesbrough, 15:00
    Newcastle v Aston Villa, 17:15
    Portsmouth v Bolton, 12:45
    Reading v Everton, 15:00
    Tottenham v Derby, 15:00
    Wigan v Sunderland, 15:00

    Sunday, 19 August 2007
    Blackburn v Arsenal, 15:00
    Liverpool v Chelsea, 16:00
Man City v Man Utd, 13:30

As always, get your selections in by game time or they do not count! Those who may lurk around this thread, you're free to join in the game any time.
