The Costa Rica striker was completely unmarked on the 6 yard box....completely unmarked.

This match could easily 6-5. Neither team is playing one bit of defense.

Terrible defense on both sides, CR missing Fernandez and Wallace.

Twelve points now!!! Now it doesn't matter what happens today or Wednesday. No one can reach us and we'll still be #1. :D

Not to mention, we are the first team to win on the road on the hexagonal.

Nos ganamos:) y casi llegamos. Jack Warner must be reeling in his underwear right now. Hope the refs play fair with us the next few games.

Good win Ticos. Good game in terms of goals scored but defensively tha warriors were horrible. Very poor defending on the goals.

When Honduras played T&T had another coach, this team would've ripped Honduras 3-0 at least.

What a tough game, we missed our main defenders.

I'm from Costa Rica, but I love Trini. Had a friend in the country set up a slingbox for me and the Trini folk are still partying even after the defeat!! Trini has the best parties anywhere in the Caribbean.

Need to head down for Carnival next year!!!

Great result! Trinidad was a great opponent and played with a lot of heart...very important to win away.

Damn i really love how this team is working together. We can be missing players and we still seem to play well as a team. I can name 6 defenders that if healthy or not suspended could've started today ahead of Pablo Herrera who isn't a natural RB, Dennis Marshall who made his debut with the NT, and Segares who played CB instead of his natural LB where he is much better.

    - Gilberto Martinez
    - Freddy Fernandez
    - Roy Myrie
    - Carlos Johnson
    - Harold Wallace
    - Junior Diaz

What i was really impressed with was us not depending on Bryan Ruiz who is our most talented player...he played bad...was subbed...and Christian Bolanos!!!..Christian was very important for us in the midfield.

Celso was great again...Saborio dangerous foward...Centeno knows how to manage the game...Marshall a solid debut for a man with like 2 years experience in 1st division...Overall an important game against a tough team.
Now im hoping for a USA win or tie...and a tie in ELS vs Mex to leave us in a better position.
