Winning the Wooden Spoon Cup by -3 and yet all I see are negative posts. F.O. will say we were missing our marquee player to National Team duty -- which will prove they don't follow the Nats. For that matter anyone that says he would have made the difference should have to watch those goals from last night on a continuous loop with their eyes propped open Clockwork Orange style.
He didn't stick out during the match to me, but Jermaine Jones must be feeling pretty good after this one.
A truly stellar performance by the Rapids. This is professional soccer at its best. Yes, "The Rapids Way" takes the MLS to a whole new level.
Well, it's clear that Cooke won't be shedding the interim title. I don't know who to keep for next season.
They did better than I predicted but only by a hair. We sure could use a better interim coach. Knowing KSE, they are probably looking for someone that they can pay less for than what they are paying Cooke.

I would have thought they would try and minimize anything from the previous world. Really glad I was not able to watch the game last night. Not having it available makes it easy to avoid. I would have been tempted to watch (and very sorry I had) if it had been available. rod.
I actually watch the first 30 minutes of this game and was all set to come in here and join in the discussion but I couldn't. All of the college football I had watched yesterday was so much better than this. It was like being at a raging party and accidentally stumbling upon a room full of nerds playing D&D. After the second goal switched over to football. I honest to God chose Arizona versus Northern Arizona University and Montana Sate vs. Washington State.
So, they did not "coug it" for once. I spent a lot of time at msu and wish they would have done well. (Anyone notice that when the rapids such this site turns into college football mocking?)
Spent yesterday cleaning up from the remnants of Harvey that passed through (6" of rain and a tornado warning in a few hours of afternoon on Thursday). I didn't want to exhaust myself even more by watching the game, and it looks like that was the right choice. I'm going to spend the rest of the season supporting Atlanta. Mostly due to geography, but partially because I think their kit is spiffy.
