I've never set up the Pre/In/Post thread before, so I may not have done it well. But it's 2 days until the match and we needed a thread. This will be one of the few matches where the Rapids (3 goals for/3 goals against) play a more boring team. Sporks have 2 goals for/1 goal against in 4 matches. Hope the match is not . I really hope the new players play and make a real difference.
Wait, the Rapids actually play soccer? Its been so long that I forgot. (Seriously, because of my trip the last time I watched 90 minutes of Rapids soccer was the season opener)
I propose that if this game sucks (definitions may vary, but we all know it when we see it) that we go back to the vs. Ex-somethingorother thread titles from last year that worked so well.
0-0 draw. KC has only allowed 1 goal this year and we've only allowed 3, 1 by PK. This has the makings of a very boring, defensive battle. If I'm going to predict one team scoring its more likely KC. http://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2017/04/border-war-week-starts-sunday.html
PRO's ref crew for the match: REF: ALLEN CHAPMAN AR1: Peter Manikowski AR2: Nick Uranga 4TH: Caleb Mendez
Yah, KFC has gone full Rapids this season. Three 0-0 draws and one win, so they are "undeafeted." And their keeper is known as "the other Tim."
I think KC will find their Mojo against this lifeless team. KC 2-0 Rapids. Howard will keep it from becoming a blowout
Game is on national TV I believe, FOX sports (or ESPN2?) I think. It will surprise and delight us, 4-4 tie.
Or the anagram version of the ref crew: REF: leach plan man AR1: mistake wore pink AR2: a car nuking 4TH: becalmed zen
Howard Miller - Watts - Ford - Williams Boateng - Azira Hairston - Gashi - Badji Doyle Bench: da Fonte, Powers, Hamilton, MacMath, Burling, Calvert, Gatt No Burling surprises me
My guess is Gatt is going to play the Serna's role as a second half sub to spice up the Rapids attack. Will be watching Boateng as he will be a key both defending and attacking.
