So having just finished the season in Belgium, is it feasible that Pozuelo could maintain such awesome form playing regularly now through the MLS campaign? Should they be strategically resting him some games like the Raptors do with Kawhi Leonard to avoid injury and ensure he is fit for the playoffs to take a run at the MLS Cup? Or just play him every week and hope for the best?

That was a heck of a debut.

The experience of similar transfers into MLS would say that TFC will need to rest him quite a bit or risk burning him out before end of summer. Tough balancing act especially when you see what he brings to the team.

That would be nice if MLS shut down for FIFA dates. But, for the most part, they don't.

I imagine that Pozuelo himself could have discussions with Vanney about how fit he is feeling and base it off that. As ChrisSSBB pointed out, however, history would suggest the wisdom of at least some rest dates.
