The Revs have now taken just seven of the last 33 points on offer. Expect deals to happen as soon as the trade/transfer window opens on July 8.

If the MLS website says we're getting a transfer, then I have hope! Oh wait, they're probably just talking about Ceballos...

I'd be really surprised if we didn't make another move or two (of course, I've been surprised before). I'd usually hope for a signing rather than a trade, as team chemistry is critical in end-of-year runs, but since this team has so little chemistry....

The best move of all might be a new coach (seems to me like the players aren't listening to Jay).

I think Agudelo could be a significant trading chip. I don't think we're utilizing him well, mainly because Davies has been more effective at his primary spot. At times (like when Davies gets subbed off) we use him as a holding forward and he hasn't been doing that well either. He needs to be the primary striker for someone - and he should have good value.

I think there would be interest in Rowe, but I wonder if Nguyen is the key. If his problems really stem from his contract issues (I still have a hard time believing that, because then he'd be sabotaging his own USNT shot), then the Revs would be better off getting something for him while he still has great value. One way or another they need to get something from him.

I agree, but then I wonder why did they get him in the first place (and make such a big deal about it). Clearly the Revs made a move for him and Heaps had a plan in mind how to use him.

Is this bad scouting or more on Heaps' rigidity in how he wants the team to play and not willing to try something different? Is this Agudelo being "Agudelo"?

I admit just being baffled what is happening with this team this year.

Part of it, I think, is Davies exceeding expectations and Agudelo not.

What's funny is when you look at the high/low for each team, we have run almost the entire length, from 2 to 20. No one has come close to our Jekyll and Hyde season. And yeah, we'd like to think that this has to be rock-bottom, at #20 with 5 losses in a row, but I'm not too sure they will right the ship this week...

I'm afraid we'll see a tie, which, with the way things have been going, will be an improvement - but, with their current standing, only a point from a home game with an expansion team would still be a bad result.

Which would make 2 points in three games against the expansion teams. Ouch.

I think we'll be holding the 20th spot for quite a while. Only Jermaine Jones can save this season now.

Is this really rock bottom though? We could always be in 22nd place once Atlanta and LAFC come in...

But Jones should be back by the time those teams are in the league, so we should be fine by then!

Happy Birthday -- remember 50 is the new 40.:)

Has anyone ever been first and last in the power rankings in the same season before? I'm guessing not, so another first for the Revs! edit: Realized immediately after posting that it wasn't this poll that we were first in for the pre-season, but I'm sure we're last in the other poll at the moment also.

One really has to look at the coach in these moments with that much of a swing. Especially since it is almost identical (as NFLPatriot pointed out) to last year.

We all know without Jones what that meant to the team - but the coach has known for some time Jones timetable - and the players are not executing. Disgruntled players aside, the coach has to MANAGE and prepare the team - even in tough times.

Look out. The revs jumped one spot this week. Sadly though, Seattle got Oba Back and they beat a ten man Orlando Expansion team and jumped 6 spots in one week. REALLY?
