Back line is looking shaky. It's almost as if they can't mark two attackers, and either Caicedo or Bunbury has an unmarked run.
I'll check back in 30 mins - time to hang out with the dog (not a fan of the fireworks erupting in the neighborhood)
I'm throwing in the towel. I have to be up at ridiculous o'clock for work, so cheer on the Rapids if the game ever restarts.
Is the next restart going to be 11:00 pm or will they just postpone the game? I keep seeing storms forming over Southern JeffCo and moving to the North East directly for the stadium. That has been going on for hours but hopefully this is the last of it.
So, so glad that my anniversary kept me at home tonight. my wife looked and saw how much delay there was so she let me catch up with "live" just now. I have to work tomorrow so I'll catch the rest in the morning but its going to be hard to take much out of this game, regardless of the result. A first half that ends 4:20 after the game was originally scheduled to kick off, horrible conditions, and a second half that won't end until tomorrow (if we're lucky it will start before tomorrow) means this game is a wash regardless of the result.
Left after the 3rd delay and made it back home for the entire 2nd half. Whaa??? The whole thing seemed destine not to happen. Couldn't get to the east side lot because Prairie Pkwy was closed due to an accident. The police routed us around the stadium but there wasn't a lot of direction from the stadium staff. Cones set out for traffic control but not expecting people going in that direction made it harder. Well, ok. Let's rally, boys. 2nd goal, nope, not gonna happen.
It's not your night when a guy between Kamara and Abubakar scores on a header. That looks like the end of the streak.
How did LAFC lose to a lame ass team like Colorado? Please explain!!!!! I am watching this game just for that reason!
And now a goal! They heard C38 "Keep on fighting!" The amount of set piece goals they've been scoring is bewildering.
Yep, just watched the second half this morning, better, but not good enough. Again though, this was such a mess of a game that its hard to take many conclusions from it. I do take one though, Rubio needs to keep scoring to make the rest of his game worth putting up with it. His constant bitching to the ref, diving, and otherwise petulant play only pays off if he scores. He did last night, so he gets a pass for this game, but up until his goal I was thinking that his contract is going to end up being a bust.
