Well, at least we know now why there were no leaks for the name, colors, logo etc. THERE WERE NONE TO BE LEAKED.
This is just a fail in so many ways--i have to believe this nothing more than a temporary placeholder meant to pique the fans' interest--either that or it's a very cruel attempt at trolling the fans. Miami Vice--really? Naming a team after an 80's tv show--just no. Naming a team after a city's decadence-- even worse. What's next--the shirt sponsor will be the miami porn industry?
That Miami Vice fan concept has been around since 2013. As for it being on Wiki, anyone can add an image or fake information to wikipedia.
A few more. Jimmy Buffett should have been the major owner, this could have been their name and colors. With Landshark Beer as the major sponsor.
I like this idea very much--the wave especially looks nice. Some color swap ideas: The bottom half of the wave rather than being deep sea blue (which look almost black)could be another shade of dark blue that is lighter than the one there but still contrasts with the teal. Could you do a color swap and put the two rings around the logo be the inner ring orange and the outer ring neon pink? Just want to see what that would look like. Thanks for your untiring work and sharing your ideas.
New idea. Name, is only for a general idea, as to what the font looks like. Art Deco Badge. Turqoiuse & Sunburst Yellow, as primary colors. Coral as a third or alternate color. Font. Gainsboro or similar.
Art deco background is a stroke of genius--it communicates the "glamour" of Miami at a glance. Perhaps a palm tree blending into the word Miami?
I get what ya mean by the palm blending into the Miami, sounds like a great idea. But I couldnt get it to work just right, so just added one to the badge itself, and different color scheme. Coral & Turquoise, for the primary colors.
Excellent work! Love the one with the coral background! The badge is elegant, not loud, and yet it communicates quite a lot!
Thanks, I am hoping they go with an Art Deco theme. And personally, would rather see Coral, and Turquoise, over pink. Other than a palm on this shield/badge, I wouldn't mind a flamingo. Both hint at Miami and South Florida and can be embraced by all Miami fans .
