    qualified teams

    Russia (Host)
    Germany (WC 14 winners)
Australia (Asian cup winners, even though they aren't Asian)
    Chile (SA champs)
    Mexico (Concacaf champs)
    New Zealand (Oceana champs)
    PORTUGAL (Campeoes da Europa)
    African rep TBD (CAF winners)

    pretty good teams on show.

anyone else thinks its unfair to the rest of Asia that Australia moved to their confed ? Lmaooo

Australia was wasting away in Oceania. Oceania is a waste of a confederation. They should split Asia into West and East (and Oceania should join East Asian). Could call the east Asian confederation Asia-Pacific which was what the region around Australia is known as.

Looks like the format is two groups A and B with 4 teams each.

Top 2 teams qualify for semi-finals

Winners will face eachother in the final, losers in the Third-place match.

The draw for the group phase is Nov. 26th

We'll probably be in pot 2 with either Germany or Chile.

They already split our Champions League. One side of the draw are full of teams from the west and the other side is full of teams from the east. The final is always east vs west.

In a perfect World I would like to see the Reigning, Defending Undisputed Football Champions of Europe beat Chile in the final without playing Germany at all. That way we can troll the Germans in the World Cup and not waste a troll job in the dress rehearsal.

That's the three best NTs in the world, IMO. Germany, Chile and Portugal.

It should be a younger squad, the Confed cup is a good one to experiment a little with

To really piss the haters off we should just have our players stand on each others backs to shield the goal and just have Ronaldo be the only man up.

Has that Kid Angel Gomes decided to stay with England? If he did, you think he will latter regret it?

They've given him the captaincy of the 2000 generation, they've purposely avoided playing Portugal in any of the usual tournaments we play each other in. It will be interesting to see what happens, it just seems crazy that he's playing for England to be honest

Haters can hate all they want, this was the deepest team I ever seen and I said this before the tournament. This tournament isn't that important though. I see Germany or Chili winning, but, heh, if Portugal can pull through and win, it would be icing on the cake. I will never complain again, or hate any of our teams. They've done something unfortunately my grand parents didn't see, them wining a tournament. Forca Portugal.
