I know they are in league 2 now and just hired a new manager, but what is their plans going forward? Will they sign any new players next month to get them out of the hole they are in and start moving back up the table?

Hopefully they do something. Sorry to see a squad plummet like that. I remember seeing them a few years ago in San Diego playing America just after they'd been relegated from the top flight. Hard to believe they're down in League 2 now.

They kinda pulled themselves from the brink last season. They appointed their academy coach as new head man and things are going much better. I believe they are just out of promotion rank.

Not sure whats sadder about that pic, Portsmouth in DC away jerseys or seeing Santino Quaranta again and thinking about lost opportunities.

BTW Portsmouth now is supporter owned and just last week repaid all of their debt. So they are in great financial shape and are planning on upgrading their facilities. They should be making a slow move back up the ladder soon.

Well being supporter owned doesn't guarantee that. There comes a point where supporters don't have the money to compete with the super rich. Where that ceiling is, is really the question.

Interesting. Smart buy from Eisner. Not so sure for supporters. Depends where Eisner wants to do with Portsmouth.

Interesting. I wonder what kind of signings they'll make.
