No, he's "only" 31, which means that he'll be available at least for both the WC and the Euro Qualifiers.
I think that soon enough Smolarek will be our lead striker, with Kosowski taking the right flank position. But for the next 2 years, the team will most likely look as it does now.

Smolarek is free to play the top of the diamond or as the third striker, and Szymek patrols the middle. This way Kosowski gets into the lineup. The only thing were sacrificing is Sobolewski, but I think his defence will not be missed as Lewandowski will play as a very DM/offensive defenceman. He could also replace Lewandowski in that position when he gets healthy, or if you feel he will do better than Lewandowski in that role. - As for Rasiak being in brackets, that would be against Costa Rica, so that we could use his height as an advantage. In that case, Smolarek would play the right flank, and Kosowski would sit on the bench.
