another slow start. could we for once beat a team we are supposed to beat in an opener. all we can hope for is that the czechs slip up at some point too. slovenia got what they wanted

in other news slovakia got a 2:1 win over northern ireland

Game was mostly unwatchable. Zewlakow and Fabian the only players worth anything, Kuba had a number of excellent runs, but then again had very long streches when he was absolutely invisible. Biggest "nieporozumienie": Kowalczyk. Absolute travesty.

like i said, we will be better off once Golanski and Bronowicki come back healthy... Wasilewski looked just as much like sh!t with how often he was getting burned

i really want to see Smolarek, Piszczek, or even Boguski out there on the left flank... how many fricken possessions can we waste with Krzynowek blasting the ball out of play?!?!? out with the old, in with the new... there is a reason why Piszczek is playing for his club and Krzynowek is in the stands for his... if Piszczek gets the chance in the midfield which is where he plays for Hertha, we will be much better off

According to today's "Gazeta Wyborcza" Poland will play in following line-up:

    --------------------Fabianski--------------------
    -Wojtkowiak-----Jop---Zewlakow-----Gancarczyk-
    ------------------Lewandowski-------------------
    -Blaszczykowski------Guerreiro---------Smolarek--
    --------------------Piszczek---------------------
    ----------------Saganowski----------------------

However I am not sure whether Piszczek will be on left and Smolarek in attack or opposite

this is either one really weird 4-5-1 or practically a 4-3-3

maybe more of a 4-4-1-1 like marcin79 laid out

but these are professional players and should be able to switch between a variety of formations, as the game allows, especially against a team like SM

well of course i understand that, but i was just saying because of the players selected... personally i see something different

    ---------------------Fabianski------------------------
    --Wojtkowiak------Jop------Zewlakow----Kowalczyk---
    --------------------Lewandowski---------------------
    ---Blasczykowski---------------------------Piszczek---
    ------------Smolarek---------------Roger-------------
    --------------------Saganowski-----------------------

this is where my 4-3-3 statement comes from... personally i could Piszczek or Smolarek in either roles i put them in... it all depends in all honesty

right, i see nothing wrong here

if there was any negativity in my last post it was directed only at the team and the frustration i feel with how they've been playing lately

win is a win, was hoping for 6 pts from these 2 games, got 4 and thats not bad. we definitely need to win the rest of our home games though cause looks like pts on the road will be at a premium.
