I was unable to listen or watch Argyle's playoff game against Wycombe as i was working for the Ottawa Fury at the same time, but i did have my wife's i-phone and had the PASOTI twitter feed going so was able to follow the bad news as Argyle fell behind 3-0, but 2 goals in last 5 mins does give Argyle a chance in the 2nd game on Thursday.
Here are a couple of videos from the game

Interesting thing happened at the game, one guy when Argyle were losing started sing a Bob Marley song called Dont worry everything will be all right, then a few more, suddenly the whole stadium started singing it and Argyle scored after the goal the fans continued playing the song, then someone took out their cell phone and turned the light on, others copied it and it was like being at a rock concert and it worked again with the 2nd goal .

Here is the story on the guy who started the singing http://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/Mar...rought-brink/story-26480841-detail/story.html

Argyle have sold out their allocation of 2100 tickets for their 2nd game at Wycombe and have got Argyle fan Woody from the rock band Bastille to play the drums at the game http://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/Bas...mouth-Argyle/story-26481377-detail/story.html

They have a chance still to get to Wembley, strange thing is Wycombe are much stronger away from home than they are at home.

Tonight Argyle played there final pre-season game against Conference team Forest Green Rovers. Besides Premier team Readings U21 team this was probably the strongest team Argyle have played. After 30 mins this proved to be as Argyle were 3-0 down but unlike in the past Argyle have a team who can score and by HT it was 3-2 and the FT score was 5-3 for Argyle. http://www.pafc.co.uk/news/article/forest-green-3-argyle-5-report-2585238.aspx
Last year if Argyle were 1-0 down they were finished they relied on scoring first and then defending, this year i thin k it will be vastly different, new manger Adams seems to be much more aggresive and has an attitude of as long as we score one goal more than you we win, so whether it's 1-0 or 5-4 as long as we score more than you thats OK.

So in 6 pre-season games they had 5 wins and a draw and scored 18 goals but conceded 10, leading scorers were Jervis 7, Brunt 4, Reid 2 , Carey 2, Nelson, Boateng and Sawyer 1 each. Breakdown is 13 goals forwards 3 midfield and 2 defence
Time to get ready for opening day Aug 8.

After 2 poor games in which Argyle were eliminated from the FA Cup 2-0 at home to Carlisle and 5-3 at home to Millwall in JPT cup, Argyle were left to concentrate on the league, today away to York, Argyle were without Reid, Boateng and goalie McCormick, in stepped Bittner to start his very first game in his 14th year of being a professional goalie.
By HT Argyle were ahead by 2-0 on goals by Jervis and Carey and could have easily been 4 or 5, 2nd half they mainly played a defensive game, unfortunately the game was held up for 10 minutes due to a serious head injury to a York player, and in the 98th minute, York did manage to score but FT score was 2-1 for Argyle. They remain 5 points ahead of the 2nd place team and 9 points ahead of the 4th place team.
Next game is home to Devon rivals Exeter Expect over 10,000 for that game.

My next game tomorrow afternoon Ottawa Fury v NY Cosmos in NASL final

Big game, big crowd (over 14,00) local derby and we lose 2-1 to Exeter. But consideration has to be taken in that before the game we knew we were missing Reid, Boateng and McCormick, there were rumours that McHugh and Hartley had also come down with injuries and this was the reason Argyle went out and got 2 loanees, goalie Christian Walton from Brighton and Luke Croll from Crystal Palace.
Once the lineups were anounced we definately were missing 5 starters and the 2 loanees were starting, it meant Argyle were playing with a very young lineup, i think Sawyer was the oldest player and he's about 27, next simpson 25 and the rest all under 24

Argyle 1 Leyton Orient 1. McHugh was back for this game, but the other 4 were still missing, rumours about that all 4 maybe missing for some time, the 2 new loanees retained their places, there was a new/old face on the bench Dean Smalley who tore his ACL nearly a year ago, he has been playing for the reserves for about the last month and has scored a few goals.
Argyle got off to a bad start and were 1-0 down after 4 mins, Argyle were playing 2nd fiddle to Leyton and could have easily been down 2/3 by the half.
Another injury for Argyle when loan player Thelkeld was carried off and replaced by Simpson. The stats where showing that Argyle had the majority of the possession but were not getting any shots on net. Argyle made a 2nd sub with 20 mins to go with Brunt coming on for Wylde, still Argyle had no shots on net but their first did go in a goal mouth scramble and ball came out to captain Nelson who slotted it home 10 mins from time. Argyle supposedly had a clear penalty claim but denied by the ref, the game fizzled out to a draw, luckily 2nd place Oxford managed to also draw so Argyle remain in 1st place by 2 points.
Next game is away to last place Dagenham who tonight won their second game of the season. After that Argyle will be off for 2 weeks as the 2nd round of the FA Cup will take place and Argyle are already eliminated. It will be a good time for the players to rest and also for the injured to recover.

Looks like we will still be playing with only half a team. Players injured Boateng, McCormick, Reid, Carey, Simpson only one of those maybe back for this saturdays game against Cambridge.
