Another pre-season victory tonight against Paulton Rovers 4-0, scoring for Argyle Chadwick (2), Dickson and trialist Paul McVeigh, a ex N. Ireland international who last year played for Norwich and Burnley. 2 other trialists played tonight Tony Callio a Finish defender who last year played for BSC Young Boys a Swiss team, and also Nadjim Abdou a French player currently with Sedan. This game tonight was part of the deal in which Argyle agreed to when they signed youngster Ashley Barnes from Paulton. Tomorrow (wednesday) Argyle go into Cornwall to play Truro. Truro are the biggest club in Cornwall and this past May won the FA Vase trophy at Wembley in front of over 27000 fans. Truro had a remarkable season they played about 55 games in all competitions and scored an amazing 216 goals and conceded 33. On saturday Argyle play there only home pre-season game against Bristol Rovers.
