With KO <48hrs away, there's been a slight dilemma on who should start the next thread. And since BigSoccer is a form of democracy (isn't it?) I figured maybe the quickest thing to do is vote... Tradition has tended to dictate that when the team loses, someone new steps up to start next thread. But the last match was unusual in that we lost the 2nd leg of a cup tie, but advanced on aggregate goals. So how do you vote? I'd suggest that any simple majority decides this, and I set this poll to expire in 9 hours, a little after 11PM ET tonight 2/23/18.
OK, not to call the results too early on election night, but it does seem that this is heading for a landslide vote in favor of sticking with the same horse @DaPrince84. Do the folks who voted that way, feel strongly enough about this that @Romfordray should delete his new thread which was created a tad prematurely? But which hasn't garnered any posts yet.
I thought the match thread rule was if you lost then you move on, we won the tie but we lost the match.
