The Armada have officially signed four players so far . . . Goalkeeper Miguel Gallardo from Orlando City, Argentine Fabricio Ortiz as a defender, Midfielders Lucas Rodriguez from Minnesota United, , and Colombian midfielder Jamie Castrillon most recently of the Colorado Rapids.

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Armada FC added another strong physical presence to its backline Tuesday with the signing of former Red Bulls defender Tyler Ruthven.
Ruthven, a 6-2 center back, has made total of 101 career professional appearances in the United States, Sweden and Finland.
He comes to the North American Soccer League club after spending the last two seasons with United Soccer League team Arizona United SC, where he made 42 appearances and tallied a goal and an assist.

Just a guess, not knowing all the keepers available, but I would think Meola would like to work with Joe Nasco whom FtL hasn't retained. Nasco only played the first 12 minutes of the season opener last year when an injury ended his season.

kick off from Panama City, second-half substitute Pascal Millien scored Haiti’s lone goal, which proved to be enough to top Trinidad & Tobago. Including Friday’s Play-In match, the Jacksonville Armada midfielder has appeared for his Haitian side in 29 matches; however, this was his first national team goal.

I like the Fondy signing, but makes you wonder where staples from last year are going to fit in. If Meola really going to run the 3-5-2 that he has already shown, where does Keita, Pascal and Jemal fit in?

Fondy looks good in USL, but he was a flop in MLS.

Maybe he'll be a better fit in the Armada, or maybe Meola is a better coach and will make better use of him.

It will be interesting to see a 3-5-2. Good luck to you.

2015 NASL Best XI midfielder Richie Ryan has been sold by Jacksonville Armada to expansion franchise Miami FC. Ryan was purchased for a $750k transfer fee according to a source with knowledge of the deal who wished to remain anonymous. The deal runs through the end of the 2018 season. Surprised by the move to get rid of Richie. For a team struggling to score goals, not sure I understand it. The money is nice but what are they going to do with it? Spend it on the team or put it in their pockets?

Team just isnt generating much offense nor excitement. Hard to get a strong following.

Anybody think we will ever get a consistent starting 11 this year? Plus no #jeromezone for a while. They gotta find some where to piece him in. One of out top guys if you ask me.

Under the guidance of former Metrostar and Red Bull Tony Meola, Ouimette made six appearances (five starts) for the Armada. But Meola was fired on August 7, since then Ouimette has had one minute of competitive playing time for Jacksonville.

The Armada has played 14 league games since Meola left the club, and Ouimette has made one garbage-time appearance in that stretch. Jacksonville closed out a forgettable season with a 3-2 win over Tampa Bay Rowdies on October 30, securing an 11th-place finish in the 12-team NASL table for the Fall Season. Ouimette's loan is presumably over,
