I wish they made decent looking scarves for the Nats. The only one I saw was the same design as our bar scarf but it alternated red white and blue stripes. I believe it was also for the women's team
I agree, I'm also sorely lacking a US scarf and don't like any on the USSF site. Will Columbus Brigade or any other groups be selling scarfs for this match?
yeah, BrooklynCrew who designed the CSU logo has been comissioned for both a Columbus Brigade scarf and a commemorative US-Mexico scarf
Honestly, I think trying to plan chants is pointless. You'll have thousands of people, most of them in varying levels of intoxication, an unpredicatible game, and many different variables. Plan chants all you want to, but some of them will be forgotten by the time the game starts. Others will be drowned out by others. IMO, it's best to plan other things and let the chants happen naturally.
Last time, Brook made some Crew Brew with the commemorative scarf and US Soccer logos both featured on the label. I have no idea if anything is planned this time. Hopefully something could be done. Of course, if we're at a pub for the majority of the day, then what would be accomplished by making something for a tailgate? I'd think the tailgate plans need to be announced before any microbrew plans get announced.
I agree but if you can get enough people who know the chant when it starts they're much easier to get going.
go to sam's army website. they have a lot of their songs/chants listed. at USA games though, i can tell you most just sort of happen. i think you'll find that most soccer fans know the pretty much all the songs out there (or at least the tune to which they can catch on to the words).

Man we really did go overboard on black and red didn't we... Our name and skull crest will always be wherever we go
that's our old main banner that's main away banner now. It gets us flag over dc crest when your nats play, but we don't cover our skull on anything. For last usa game we just made a red, white and blue banner and put it in place where main one goes just for one game (we do that sometime, like when we did orange/maroon one after VT shooting).
are we going to throw streamers at corner kicks? i don't want to be the only one and we need to bring that back next season!!!
