Pirlo is turning into a great ambassador for the league. I could see him taking a coaching role here after retiring.
I was highly critical of him in the past but I am glad things turned around for better & these passes are a thing of beauty I must say .
Question: I read in La Gazzetta Dello Sport that Pirlo was injured. Is he really hurt or is Patrick Vieira just not wanting to utilize him?
In all honesty, it's probably 6 of one and a half dozen of the other. The team is definitely better with him out of the line up.
I don't get it. I know he is a little older but he has been older ever since he went to Juventus when Milan discarded him as being washed up. He was never a runner though and I guess in MLS if you can't run, you can't play.
Isn't that sad? This is what is completely wrong with this league in regards to its crazy rules , DP contracts and salary caps. He is the highest paid player and he is just dead weight... How many more quality under 26 year old players could they have gotten for $6 million? It literally makes no sense.
Andrea Pirlo has held talks with members of the Italian FA and some clubs as he considers the next step in his career. Pirlo, 38, will be given an official send-off at a San Siro testimonial next month. He has been working as a pundit but is considering a future in coaching and told La Gazzetta dello Sport he is weighing up his next move. http://www.espn.com/soccer/italy/st...ions-over-coaching-roles-with-italy-and-clubs
https://www.frontrowsoccer.com/2020...fc-pirlo-set-to-be-named-juventus-u-23-coach/ Reports: Ex-NYCFC Pirlo set to be named Juventus U-23 coach Jul 17, 2020
Pirlo signing on as Juve U23 coach has been in the works since March but he said he had a ton of other offers As well. Guess staying with a more stable Juventus was better for him all around.
