some quick info on the Pid Army:

The Pid Army is the evolution where the old-school Rapids hardcore supporters work with new fans to create something new and ultimately even more exciting in the Terraces at the Dick. Our group is made up of the great majority of the supporters that stood in the previous supporters section before the Terraces were born last year. We merged the existing groups when the Terraces gave us renewed energy and hope that we can grow the supporters culture to be what we have always wanted here in Colorado. We are very excited to have so many new people joining us in our quest this year.

We've made great strides in the last year and plan to continue getting better and better with the help of all of our members. We are an unaffiliated supporters group and we like it that way. We answer to no-one and our only agenda is supporting the Rapids (the Pids). We work with organizations who want to work with us, treat our members well and support our vision of being rowdy while driving the Rapids on to glory. If they don't treat us well, we'll move to one that does.

Also, we have no membership dues. We are supported by selling merchandise and through donations (whether it be time or money, we need both). The Pid Army is what its members make it, and we value all input. Members are encouraged to make their own flags, banners, signs, shirts, whatever. We cherish the creativity of our members rather than try and control it. You'll notice our people bringing new homemade stuff to every game, and we love it!

Here is how you can find out more, follow us, get discounted tickets or buy our merch.

Here are the details on different viewing parties we have set up:

    Denver:
viewing party at the Highland Tavern at 34th and Navajo. This is a new partner bar that really wants to work with us this year and we love the place. They have great food too so come early or stay late for a bite! The will be giving away some free tickets to the Terraces too!
    facebook invite here: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=138866729515161

    Boulder:
viewing party will be at Old Chicago on the Mall. This game is so big Boulder is rocking its own viewing party! Looks like a good showing too.
    facebook invite here: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=103654536385342

    Fort Collins:
party will be at CB & Potts as it was last week. 65 people strong last time, good work Ft. Collins!
    facebook invite here: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=145167228882985Littleton:
We've done many a gig with the Celtic Tavern downtown, but this time the Celtic Tavern South (on Belleview, just west of Sante Fe) wants to give some love to you people down south in the burbs. Here is their website if you need more info: http://www.celtictavernatriversidedowns.com/modules/wfchannel/
    Pueblo
Some of our guys are watching the game at Shamrock Brewing Company.

And if you live elsewhere, here are some options for you:

    Colorado Springs:

We are told McCabes Tavern will be showing the game and some people are going there. They had a screw up on the TV situation for Dallas game but that won't happen this week we are assured.

For us it actually changes sometimes. We like to share the love with different bars to keep things fresh and get some new people and organizations involved.

Tomorrow night's game against Houston we actually are doing a viewing party at the Highland Tavern, but not the other locations. Best way to see where we are planning on going is check our Event Calendar on PidArmy.com

Wednesday's Red Bulls viewing party with the Pid Army

want to hang with the cool (and LOUD) kids this Wednesday for the Rapids clash with New York? We'll be at Streets of London as the traveling viewing party continues (we are on track to convert every bar in town to a soccer bar by the end of the year if we can!:) ). They are putting the game on all their TVs for us with sound.

Streets of London is one of our favorite bars in town with great beers, good beer prices, always great music on the jukebox (rarely any country, hip hop or jammy band music playing here). And now a great little pizza place is run out of Streets too, it is even better!

Streets is at 1501 East Colfax. Game is at 5:30. Everyone is welcome. We have a facebook invite at link below. Hope to see ya' there.

No Fan Alone - Day of Champions (ManU v Barcelona and Rapids v KC)

Hey everybody, we decided to have a little fun with the whole Champions League Final on the same day as the Rapids against the Sportkcs. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us in the fun for some good drinkin', great eating', some great footy on the tele from England and then top it off with a Rapids win. And drink as much as you like, as we're doing a FREE BUS from the Celtic in Lodo to the game and back after Champions League match.

    Here are some highlights:

-Free bus transportation to our tailgate and of course the Rapids game (buses start going at like 3:30). Beer will be provided on the bus!
-we've got 2 firkins (small kegs) of small batch beer, called Iniesta Pale Ale & Stratford End Porter. One beer for each team. We'll hold them until the end of the game, and the tap them. WINNING TEAM'S BEER IS FREE FOR EVERYONE (loser's is only $3.50/glass, both are very strong). The champagne of beers indeed!
-10 sets of rapids tix to Saturday's game for you to use, or give to your friends who come with you
-2 pairs of tix for the Mexico v New Zealand match next week
-a Champions League jersey from Heineken
-$3.50 Heineken, Burgundy Pride, Bud and Jaeger shots.
-some other shirt giveaways of Pid Army and Class VI merchandise

-KC BBQ tailgate in West VIP lot from 4:00 to 7:00. The Pid Army and Class VI ALWAYS tailgate in the lots, and tomorrow will be no different, except we are serving BBQ. So as usual, a $5 donation gets you all the food and beer you can eat/drink up until gametime. Cheapest deal in the land for sure!

All the info can be found here:

    From a Timbers supporter,
I know this is way way late and now irrelevant (I recently got regular internet access). It may not even be the place to post this message, but thank you all sincerely for a warm reception at our opener in Commerce back in March. Your team ran us off the park, and rightfully so, but my wife and I experienced nothing but hospitality during our time there. The BBQ outside the stadium was a highlight of the trip. You guys are a class act all around, please win the CCL. Much respect.

Just so we're all on the same page.....no Pid Army member should support corporate bars like Baker Street Pub. They are not on our side. No one likes us......but I don't care!!!!!

Why the ******** should it be your business what bars anyone supports? Does PA tell their members what brand of underwear to purchase, which sneakers are PA Approved™ and which direction the toilet paper should be hung from the roll in the bathroom? Maybe I should call you up on election day too just to be sure my vote is burgundy and blue enough.

It's called an opinion.....just as you have yours, I have mine. Just as you don't care for mine....I don't care for yours. Baker Street Pub made false promises to Rapids fans.....not cool. They won't get my business anymore, and I merely suggested the same for other PA. So, die!
