    Notes:
^ - Domestic players include US citizens and holders of green cards or refugee/asylum status – all other players considered international players. Minimum of 18 players required or have salary budget charge imputed for each roster spot less than 18.

    OFF-BUDGET PLAYER ROSTER (ROSTER SPOTS 21 - 31)
The salaries for all of these players do not count against the salary cap budget. This roster includes all Generation Adidas (until they graduate from the program) and Home Grown players (they can stay off-budget even if they have signed new contracts since their original MLS contract). Non GA/HG players can also be on this roster assuming that they make the minimum salary amount given their years of experience in MLS, so there is no age limit for these players (when MLS called these developmental rosters in the past, players had to be 25 years old or younger to be on this roster - this age requirement is no longer in place). These off-budget roster spots are differentiated by the minimum salary amount.

    SUPPLEMENTAL ROSTER SPOTS 21 - 24
These players’ salaries will be at least $63,000.
    1. Joshua Yaro #15 (D) (1/17/94) ($140.0K - $224.0K) [Ghana – Green Card]^
    2. Derrick Jones #8 (M) (3/3/97) ($70.0K - $75.9K) [USA/Ghana]*
    3. Adam Najem #24 (M) (1/19/95) ($71.5K - $71.5K)*
    4. Kacper Przybylko #23 (F) (3/25/93) ($70.0K? - $70.0K?) [Germany/Poland - INTL]

    RESERVE ROSTER SPOTS 25 - 28*
These players’ salaries will be at least $51,500 with slightly higher minimums based on years of MLS experience - non-HG or non-GA players must make minimum salaries to be on off-budget roster.
    1. Auston Trusty #26 (D) (8/12/98) ($80.0K - $109.1K)*
    2. Jack Elliott #3 (D) (8/24/95) [England – INTL] ($59.6K - $59.6K)
    3. Anthony Fontana #21 (M) (10/14/99) ($65.0K -$73.4K)*
    4. Marcus Epps #20 (M) (1/6/95) ($55.7K - $55.7K)

    RESERVE ROSTER SPOTS 29 - 30
These players must be home grown players.
    1. Matthew Real #32 (D) (7/10/99) ($54.5K - $54.5K) *
    2. Mark McKenzie #4 (D) (2/25/99) ($54.5K - $64.5K) *

    USL LOAN ROSTER SPOT 31
This player must be on season-long loan with Bethlehem Steel. If player requires international roster spot, it does not count the MLS international roster limit.
    1. Jake McGuire #29 (G) (9/2/94) ($55.7K - $55.7K)

Those 5 open spots will require actual SugarBucks or this team will be rough. Like lose to Harrisburg in the Cup rough. 2 DPs or GTFO.

It worries me that "None" has to cover so many positions/roster spots/coaching slots. He had better be able good utility player with an outstanding left foot and a Philly pedigree.

I'm mentally prepared for that depth chart to be our starting XI for the season opener with one (maybe two if we're lucky) changes. I no longer expect much from this team.

I almost hope this is what they roll out to start the season with. Just kinda want to watch it burn to the ground.

I am waiting to see what position that I can get with my STH Loyalty Points - Goalkeeper Coach or Technical Director.

I think we should pool all our STH loyalty points and bid on every chalk talk with Curitn and send either ZMan Gunner or Adam Cann to 'splain to the coach how to manage the team.

Give him an open roster spot, call him "Player-coach", and all he costs is cap space.

That's a classic Union move. He would join a list of Union greats, including Chris Albright, Fred, Oka Nikolov, & Brian Carroll. I'm probably missing a few since they always seem to have one such "player" on the roster.

For a guy making 500k, the Union have completely removed him from the spotlight. I can't think of a Union player that gets less acknowledgement of existing than Simpson.

Ilsinihio hurt. Will probably miss opening day and a bit beyond.
Blessing in disguise... Jim can’t waste his time playing him at the 10 if he’s hurt.
