at the levels we are talking such a distinction is not necessary. if as a club we are signing a player isnt it with the understanding that it is to be a part of the first team? if not, why the hell are we signing, assuming it isnt a 13 year old?
I'd keep him for another year to see if he can stay healthy - he started only 6 games in the Prem this past season. CB's don't grow on trees, it is hard to find good ones and he's still only 24, still has potential IMO.
i think you're ignorant or pandering if you think varane was referring to not being in united first team.
The way I see it is we would be selling for a loss this summer. Give him a season away and see if he finds form. He either gets back on track and we can decide if he has a future here, he flops and we get rid for a loss anyway or he is in-between and we have the chance to sell for more money.
so, on one hand, jones is trash. on other hand, good enough to keep varane out, as your implication is that we can only sign one cb, despite playing two, for first team. your logic is circular and your ideas are written in crayon.
Fellaini now following Jones; Here we go with Blondie Felli.... pic.twitter.com/sM8yLgkuQz— Marouane Fellaini (@Fellaini) June 6, 2016 Going blonde as a final roll of the dice to save a career didn't work out so good for Torres or Nasri ...
Torres went the other way didn't he? He was blonde with Pool and went dark when he moved to Chelsea and that's when the wheels fell off for him.
He went blonde again at Chelsea after the wheels fell off, but it didn't save him - the problem wasn't with the hair but with what was under it http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ims-to-find-blond-ambition-again-7466741.html
Sad he hasn't been sold yet. He should have stayed at Blackburn. He is the Mark Noble type, he can be an average player staying at one club and be celebrated for the longevity, not the skill. Oh wait, he can't even string 5 games in a row together.
