According to wikipedia (which is never wrong) he is only 5'11 which is short for an EPL central defender. Vida, Rio, Evans, Smalling etc. all around or taller than 6'2. Maybe SAF has a holding mid role in mind in our new 451/433?

The official site, the Blackburn one, lists the same height for Jones. He is the same height as Jagielka. Pity Jones has only just turned 19 years old and has therefore fully grown.
