I re-watched the Depor game and got really upset that he didn't see a minute of the clasico again.

He should really be one of the first names on the team sheet. Such a shame really players like Bale just get to play despite doing fuk no all season

He got a 10 rating on whoscored.com for his performances vs Gijon and Deportivo.

    I don't remember seeing any player get a 10.

Zidane said today I am not going to be the person to tell Bale or Cristiano they have to sit on the bench.

    What does that tell you?

Why Bale though? I get Cristiano its whatever, I don't agree with it but okay. However Bale? He's a good player but as far as team or personal accolades he didn't really have many before coming here so I don't consider him to be super unbenchable, he just cost a lot of money

Probably because he's a crybaby and demands playing time... Don't forget what Bale's agent did to Ancelotti. I think situation still hasn't changed in that regard.

It seems that only Perez can bench them.

In other words, he cannot do it, someone else can, obviously Perez. The man who single handedly can fuk up this generation. We have the squad to dominate the next 5 years in Europe and Spain, leave a legacy, but no the coach is obligated to play the prima donnas like Bale and Benz. Ronaldo is fine as long as he doesn't play LW in a 433.

Depends on the translation given, i understood that he said he is not the one to sit anyone down, he has a discussion and explain his thinking.

Zidane: "I am not the person who will sit down CR7, Bale or anything like that. We discuss with the players & I always explain my thinking."

I just read more of his comments. He pretty much said we'll see what happens next season regarding his situation.

Not a good sign imo. We're seeing him put in prime Iniesta like performances and Zidane still doesn't see him as a name who should be 1st on team sheet.

    Agree.

    1. He's the most in-form player in the squad right now
    2. We raped Atletico 0-3 thanks to a hatrick from Cristiano yes, but the mastermind was Mr. Disco.

With all due respect to everyone in the squad, he'll be the first name I put in the starting XI on Tuesday.

There's zero chance Isco doesn't start vs Atletico. He'll start. I'm 110% certain.

I think him sitting the full 90 minutes today gave that away.

We do need him on Tuesday. So many times in the past years we resort to purely playing on the wings vs. Atletico with no aerial threat in the box. I'd give the ball to Isco as much as possible and let him create.

Isco played three games in a row within 7 days, sitting this out was a good decision, especially since he's keeping the ball a lot and gets hacked down a lot for it. He seemed incredibly engaged and in good spirits. I'm sure he knows he'll play against Atleti.

Mmm good that Bale is always injured otherwise we would never see other players getting a chance .

Come on guys , give ZZ some love atleast.

Did the right thing resting him , this is the thing we always clamored for during Ancelotti's time , running the best eleven to the ground.

Isco is the kind of player who can shit on the thugs with his twinkle feet and magical twists and turns, in short , it is ISCO DISCO TIME !!
