Guilty. I've been busy with life over the past few years. Got married, bought a house...hoping to watch more games and post around here a bit more in the future. P.S. We have Black Bears in Vermont.
Veltman in front of Mkhitaryan is everything but reassuring. If Ajax gets troubles because of Veltman, Bosz will have to pay for it.
Doesn't Mata usually line up on the left side? Anyway, I agree with you but Bosz goes with the same players he likes. We know Schöne will have to come off at some point in the 2nd half depending on the pace of the match so Bosz limits himself to only two substitutes.
So am I watching this badboy in Spanish on Deportes? BTSport stream not available to us in the US I see.
Schone and Veltman were starters throughout the entire campaign, he can't leave them out for the final game. I too would like to see Tete and v. d. Beek starting the game, together with Neres, Nouri, de Jong but for that we'll have to wait for he next final. Hope we will not have to wait another 21 years, I might not be around to watch the game.
Is ManU even playing football tonight? They are really quite poor. They capitalized on the poor throwing from Riedewald and the unfortunate deflection of Pogba's shot by Sanchez gave Onana no chance. the only other decent effort was from Valenci but Onana had it covered. ManU are playing a very defensive 4-2-3-1 (and if memory serves, Mourinho played the same formation when Inter won the CL with Wesley Snjeider). Ajax are having a lot of possession and getting the ball across and into the middle of the attacking area but they can't break anyone free. I expect we will see much more of the same i the second half.
Ajax have been bad, the 2 wingers are mediocre & need to substituted. Younes is invisible & I don't care if Traore occasionally plays well & makes okay runs etc, but his decision making is terrible & he considers himself Ronaldinho. But yea take off Younes. Schone is old & useless now. Also speaking of thinking himself Ronaldinho, Sanchez is the most irritating player who thinks he is Pirlo building from the back, making deep runs & forward passes every one of which results in lost possession & he got himself into 2 potential blunders with a lack of concentration but got bailed out as he made 2 fabulous tackles. He needs a tough coach to strengthen out his talent ! He needs LVG who will drop his pants & show his balls & show who's the boss !
Younes is a scrub ! Next season Kluivert, Neres, Nouri & Beek should start not these scrubs & pretenders !
