Might as well start a thread for it since I will be moving. One question about PES I know they don't have licenses but do people upload/create custom lgs like in Fifa? I heard they will have the brasileirao/ Serie B regardless so I should be good. I even asked this dude on twitter about it and he didn't give me a clear answer about peer downloadable content.

PES was voted the best sports game of gamescon. I really disliked FIFA 14 so i think i will be making the switch this year or atleast buy both

I heard good things from the gamescon but i'm very cautious about getting excited for it.

Your right we also have to remember that all the games are still in development so were going to have to wait until its released to see if PES really is making a comeback.

Did you play last years version? I'm curious about being able to download custom rosters/teams like you can do in Fifa. For instance I downloaded the ecuadorian lg, and the serie b when Fifa had the tournament mode.

I played the demo of PES 2014. I think there will be patches that you download online to get leagues like the bundesliga and actual team names and kits for the BPL.

You can pretty much download all the licensed kits and leagues online for free from a lot of website. Everyone complains about PES not having the EPL kits or the full bundesliga, but the stuff people come out with his amazing. I play PES 2014 after switching from FIFA, I hated FIFA 14, but I wouldn't recommend picking up PES 2014 now. It was a bad game that turned into an okay game after several months and several patches. Just wait until PES 2015 comes out, the demo will be out on September 17th.

It was really good, very realistic, definitely more of a simulation then Fifa. This is PES's last stand and it came out good surprisingly.

I've got 2014 and I like it. I haven't been playing soccer games that long so don't have much to compare it to.

Fifa 14 and WC 2014 are fun too, but I like PES a little better. Seems to capture the stadium atmosphere better.

i may just skip it, i found a good downloadable brasileirao and serie b for fifa. If PES came with a full serie b i'd be down but they are just missing to many clubs again everywhere.

Just played the 2015 demo on Xbox 360. Wow! Great game, I enjoy it more than FIFA. Graphics are amazing and the way the ball moves is a lot more realistic.

    Well done Konami!

I'm thinking this year PES. Especially since FIFA 15 is a rehash of 2014. Looks like all you get are updated kits as to where PES is seemingly a complete overhaul and new gaming experience.

While that may be correct for PES, it's definitely not the case for FIFA. FIFA's engine feels quite different than FIFA 14.

Just discovered over the weekend that in the England League 2 season, you can move up to League 1 if you do well enough. Very cool feature!
