    Any now?

    Past?

    Include American of Peruvian families.

Let's make a list of them: name, team, years, grade

He used to play for the Rapids and went by the name of Waldir...no last name...wannabe Brasilian. I went to see him play and he never got into the match.

Didn't Percy Oliveras (I can never get his last name quite right) play for the Dallas Burn?

Jerry Tamashiro playd for the Miami Fusion and I actually got to meet him after a match and got pics somewhere here.

I once met and had a conversation with those guys Rob Stone and Ty Keyough. They asked about me and Peru came up in the conversation. I guess Ty played against Cubillas back in the day. They asked if I wanted Peruvian players for my (then) team the Crew. I said I wanted the best players available, not some marketing thing. If they just so happened to be from Peru, then great.

    Who is this Luchi Gonzalez?

I know of an American ex-LA Galaxy goalkeeper who played for Sport Boys before MLS was formed. Forgot his name.

    That it?

Get out, where is Waldir now. I know he was with Alianza for a while but totally missed when he came to the US
Luchi Gonzalez is half gringo I believe, he even played for Sporting Cristal. But dont quote me on that one.

Played for Sport Boys, too. IIRC

    Check that...born in Porto. Portugal.

They love Cubillas in Portugal. Not sure he has the same status Maradona has in Naples, Italy. But close I would say :D

SO five players in the history of the MLS?
I'll take that as a good thing, rather have Peruvian players come into the MLS in the next couple of years, as the MLS is getting better.

In 1997, I wanted my club to sign German Carty. He would have done well here at that time. Man, I am glad he made a sort of a comeback in recent years.

It would be nice to see some Peruvians in MLS. But the league should try and sign the good young players and not the old veterens of the past. The only player that is over 30 that I would love to see in MLS is Solano. But aside from him I would like to league to sign the younger players. It would be good for Peru cause the better players in MLS get seen by European teams more so than the Peruvian league. I know that Chavez kid signed with Club Brugge maybe there are more like him. Maybe some good young defenders or maybe a GK or two. God knows Peru needs more of those.
