Some pretty nice stadiums are being built/remodeled in provincias.

    Estadio Torres Belon, Puno.

This was long overdue. Our stadiums were among the worst in the region really.

That is because these stadiums are built by the IPD and the local governments, hence they are not futbol only.

Don't complain, it's hell of a lot better than what we used to have in the 80s and 90s. Arenales.

Also is good to see a town like Chimbote (futbolero por tradicion con gran aficion) finally is getting a decent stadium.

another one that was really ********ed up was the stadium in Huanuco. I was there once only but it was enough... there's a freaking CERRO next to Oriente (there are no populares behind the goals)

I saw before the game that a few hundred had gathered on the cerro (for ehich they actually chrged like ONE SOL  ) but it was not until the second half when La U scored via Roberto Martinez and we started celebrating that a rain of stones came down on us, damn brother it was like meteorites on that place. I went for cover behind una tia que vendia butifarras y se defendia con su tablon. But not all were so lucky, a few had blood all over them from las pedradas.

After that everytime la U was about to score, I started yelling

    Todas requiren mejor gramado
