Didn't watch the match, so I can't comment on the penner, but Pawson is absolute garbage. Totally agree, he shouldn't be near a top flight pitch.

I have a hard time keeping track of refs (except Webb of course...) but yeah I'll definitely be watching out for this dude.

Honestly, most aren't good. England lacks some real quality when it comes to referees.

By this metric Salah won a penalty before he scored his goal! Hands against an attacker in the box, I guess in the refs mind advantage was played?

    What a joke.

I've never understood why English refs are so averse to award penalties.

This bust-up in the tunnel at Old Trafford today. It wasn't handbags: Mikel Arteta was left with blood pouring down face. Bottles as well as punches thrown. Romelu Lukaku prominently involved, according to witnesses.

Because English players are so bad at taking them. Just saving time.

Bottles thrown. Hard to imagine lukaku hit anyone though, given his recent accuracy issues.

So happy we went with Morata over Lukaku.

LOL @ the people who were constantly riding Lukaku's dick in the transfer window. Morata has so much more all around game then Lukaku that it isn't even close.

Everyone having a field day shitting on a 24 year old kid whos currently on the team above us in the table and has a single goal less than our striker...

Fox News level of sensationalist BS in here at times.

He has been woeful since the beginning stage of the season tbf. My only gripe with the comments is that Morata really hasn’t been in that great of form as of late either - can’t put a decent shot on target unless it’s a header atm

Jose really is petulant now. This is the second time he has taken offense to somebody celebrating a win. They earned the right to celebrate fair and square. Use it to motivate your next game. What is the point of berating others for it?

The fact that he even has 8 goals and a few assists on the crap attacking side that is United right now is pretty amazing. Even Diego went cold under Jose.

I'm not saying Lukaku is a wonder kid, but he has proven himself to be a good striker (at the VERY least). The hate he gets in here is flat out illogical. Makes no sense.

    He's been poor. That isn't hate, that's calling a spade a spade.

It remains to be seen whether we have or not. I said I'd rather have Morata and even with his struggles it's clear to me, at this juncture, he is a far more polished striker. He likely won't score as many goals however.

Meh, yeah he’s still young, but Lukaku has had time to prove whether or not he’ll be in the upper echelon of strikers in world football. He’s shown he can be a fantastic finisher, but doesn’t bring too much else to the table. If he’s not consistently doing the one thing that he’s shown he can really excel at, what do you expect people to say? Morata hasn’t been in earth shattering form since the start of the season either, but he’s at least been more than a passenger

Good news is that after the last 2 matches, we didn't lose ground on United, and gained a point on Arse and Pool. Could be worse.

You are a better poster than this mate.

It was a soft call but even then, a lot of ex-refs in the post match discussions thought it was the correct decision.

And we previously went over how much Klopp likes to moan, he has brought up one call from the United-Liverpool match from 14 months back at least half a dozen times since.

It is fine if he does, clearly it seems to motivate the fanbase and the players.
