Yep. Lots of flash, no finish. Utd were clinical and I hope we continue to see Wenger lead arsenal for years, just a non threat in the league.
They went dozens of games against your lot and United without a win in that period. Fergie would set up the team to play the same exact way every time and come back with a comfortable win.
Citeh march on. 13 wins in a row and tough to see them losing to a pogba-less United. Just an amazing run.
City are going to win it at a canter. Hope United at least get a draw against them so that we can preserve our 13 game record.
I just see no way anyone will catch them. Their also likely to strengthen further in January. They could use a CB.
THis is quite something. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ester-chelsea?CMP=fb_a-football_b-gdnfootball
Drogba against Arsenal was always beautiful. You could bet your house on him scoring against them. It was great. De Gea IMO is the best keeper in the world right now. But that's just me.
The story really needs to change on this. Sp*rs didn't lose sh*t. Leicester won the title. And yet all you hear is about how Sp*rs bottled it. Liverpool bottled it in 2013/14, Sp*rs never had anything to lose. Oh and f*ck Clattenburg. By admitting he didn't adhere to the letter of the law but had a game plan he should be investigated for match fixing.
Chelsea and Spurs should sue him for this. Both clubs were fined heavily because they couldn't control their players. Now he has admitted he could have controlled but had his personal agenda.
Watching the Klopp interview. Such a touchy fella, really don't get the love for him. Is it because he gets really animated? Every bit as petulant as a Jose or a Fergie.
Not saying City aren’t a fantastic team because they quite clearly are, but this winning run goes to show that even the most talented of teams can’t do it all without a little rub of the green. So many late goals, so many squandered opportunities by opposition - not trying to downplay the achievement at all, there have just been so many times where they could’ve easily slipped up and haven’t. Stuff of champions I suppose. Well deserved
You mean Craig Pawson did you a favor. ... cmon. You know that's not true. If every time Jose acted like this the call was THIS bad he'd be the single most unlucky/conspired against manager on the planet. One of the worst pen calls ever, what's a manager supposed to do?
Did you even watch the match? It was complete robbery. In a derby with Everton not even showing up to play, hoofing it out of bounds, unable to complete 3-4 passes for 85% of the match, lucky to not be down 3-0... for the ref to call that game and grant that penalty is utterly disgusting. I'd be saying the same thing if this happened to Man United. One of the worse penalties I've ever seen. If that's anything close to a penalty then the ref in manc derby missed about 4 of them in the first half. Absolutely pathetic.
You do understand none of these things have anything to do with a penalty decision. It makes it harder to swallow but that's about it. The Klopp logic of "they didn't come to play so it shouldn't have been given" is a total misnomer.
It should never be given period, but I'm saying and Klopp was saying the context and optics of it, which you don't understand if you didn't watch the full match, makes it really frustrating and makes it stuck out all the more. Solanke was getting grabbed in the box all game. We're Liverpool supporters calling for penalties? No. Because you're allowed to TOUCH an attacker in the box. Solanke shrugged off contact far far worse than this pen multiple times... I guess he should just throw himself to the ground and cross his fingers from now on? Don't excuse or minimize pathetic refereeing. That's all this was. A touch on the back and a dive. Utterly pathetic. This ref should be on a break for any top 4 matches for a couple years.
