A friend of mine I just learned is a Arsenal fan refuses to bet dinner. Her reason? "I'm not stupid!"
Griezmann to United it seems if they win the Europa league. He said in an interview 6/10 chance he joins United in the next two weeks and 7/10 chance he stays at Atleti. United win Europa League -> Griezmann to United -> Lacazette to Atleti it seems. I've been advocating for Griezmann for a while, he doesn't fit into United lineup but when you are given the opportunity to bring in a world class player, you take it. It's a good sign for the prem as well, taking one of the top 5 players in the La Liga who is in his prime.
Facts that likely interest only me. Average age of the lineup that Man Utd proudly fielded in a meaningless match against Crystal Palace on the last day of the season (their youngest ever in the EPL): 22 years 284 days. Average age of the lineup that Ajax are starting in the most important match of the season (and by some accounts in Mourinho's career): 22 years 282 days.
In other news, Phil Neville is so impressive he can literally see sound "Phil Neville Former Manchester United defender on Radio 5 live This is the style Ajax like to play. Every time they lose the ball, they fight really hard to win it back. The design of this arena really helps the atmosphere - it's brilliant. The acoustics are the best I have ever seen." PS. Sav agrees Robbie Savage Ex-Leicester City & Wales midfielder in Stockholm Well the acoustics must be good if Phil can see them....
Torn on who to root for but I know one thing for sure the second half had better be more entertaining as that half was dross.
Well, lets hope we get our transfers done quickly as both Utd and Citeh will be spending tons of money.
The Pope looks like he just found out that Trump is a Tottenham fan. I wonder if he told him the same thing he told them
So the Mendy to Man City soon to be finalised? They're not sitting still. Splashing the cash and getting their deals done as early as they can. Hopefully our board does the same for us.
Regarding champions league seeding, spurs are currently 8th of the second set of clubs (pot 1 being allocated to champions). However, if either Seville or Napoli qualify they will be dropped to 3rd and could face a nightmare group. Looks like utd will be pot 2 regardless along with city. Can't wait for the draw!
