Where is this volleyball board? :)

BigSoccer is the main English-language soccer forum (that I know of).
If there isn't a "$school $year" thread, it's simply because nobody has created one yet.
I dunno about any newbie waiting period for thread creation.

To "like" a post, click "Rep" in the lower right corner of that post. You already know the "Quote" feature ;)

OK, thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. You get my first REP.
I could've swore that the REP button wasn't there before, although I see it now. Wow! I must be going blind. So, how do you create a thread?

    The Volleyball board is: http://volleytalk.proboards.com/
The other one I use (as a fan of Penn State Women's VB, which as won 6 National Championships in the last 8 years) is: http://forum.dignittanyvolleyball.com/

Actually, to prevent spam newbies "need a few replies and a little bit of time as a member to start threads." Big Soccer doesn't publicly make the exact number of replies or the time needed known.

I see that you have this all figured out and that you now have the 2016 Penn Stet thread started. Good!

OK, you get my 2nd REP. Thanks for the info.
Sometime after about noon today the REP and Create Thread buttons showed up.

By the way, do you know how many times you can EDIT a post?
I made a post on my laptop earlier today, then Edited it. However, now I'm on my Desktop and I don't have the Edit feature available. The odd thing is that I can see the Edit feature on a later post I made in the same thread from my Desktop. I'm thinking there is either a time-out for editing or you can only edit from the source PC where you made your initial post (both use the same ISP provider and have the same external IP).

You get my 3rd REP for replying to my concerns. I don't want to overdo it, but I appreciate the reply.
Yes, I started a 2016 Penn State thread, but then realized someone else started another one a few hours earlier, so I promptly deleted mine and posted my thoughts under the older one.
    Much obliged.

The "edit" function times out. I'm not sure what the time out period is.

PS - I'm known as "8M" on the Volleytalk board.

BTW, I was trying to use a shorter Username here, but BigSoccer required at least 4 characters. Is there anyway to Edit my Username on this board?

The edit window is 30 minutes for a regular post and 5 minutes for private messaging.

NewEngalndNellie wanted her name to be NewEnglandNellie but a typo caused the mispelling. We wouldn't recognize her with any different spelling now!
